Excellent night, went on a Wednesday and it was busy and vibrant
Outstanding food and amazing drinks. Can’t beat the Jan offers and £5 cocktails on Wednesdays!
The table service was superb. Our waitress was so lovely and attentive, she thoroughly deserved a big tips! Sadly we forgot her name. Food were average but one of my friends really enjoyed her vegan burger. So far so good. We didn’t like the noise level, it was super loud and we had to shout at each other all the time which has dampened our dining experience. It’s worth going back for drinks and listen to a live band, not for eating and catching up with friends and families unfortunately. It’s definitely very lively!
food, atmosphere and service was great! i didn’t catch her name before we left but the blonde haired woman with the black beanie/b&w striped top looked after us and was super friendly! we will be back soon to try the oreo donuts which she recommended :) thanks again x
Such a vibey place from the first step.
The food was immaculate- those were THE best cauliflower wings I have ever had. And the Lychee Martini, to dieeee for.
The service was comfortably attentive and servers were very friendly.
I went with my mum and it was just a beautiful mood and ambience all night.
The music was loud but not so loud that you would have to shout to hear each other from across the table.
Will definitely be going again as a regular.
Booked the blues kitchen for a celebration meal after my son graduated and the meal was fantastic we had a brilliant time very busy but all the staff were lovely we were served very quickly at the bar good selection of beers and the food was very good also great live blues band and a great atmosphere
Great food, service and atmosphere
A little too dark but otherwise top notch
Even better when half price
Fantastic restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. Food was amazing!
Me and my friends came here for my birthday and we had such a lovely time. All the staff were super friendly and helpful! The whole place had an amazing atmosphere and I definitely recommend:))
Lovely service, waiter was really nice and patient with us, atmosphere and decor was lovely, food tasted really really good, would defo come back + recommend to others
Food & drinks were amazing, atmosphere was lively and the staff were friendly! Thanks
Amazing! Absolutely wonderful food great service and value for money. Will be back very soon.
Great place to eat, drink and listen to live music! Very helpful and nice staff.
Great atmosphere service and everything
Food was nice, service was very good. Think it slightly overpriced for what you get in regards to food but would definitely go again for drinks as the atmosphere is very fun.
Fantastic food, highly recommend this place!!!! I’ll be back to try the brunch menu soon!
Great food and fantastic entertainment. Live entertainment is amazing
Fantastic place! Food was lovely! Cocktails were amazing! Brilliant evening.
Really great atmosphere and excellent customer service
Absolutely brilliant experience! I held a surprise meal for my partner and we were upgraded to the private dining and the team were brilliant throughout the day!
Great food, quick drinks, attentive service!
Thanks so much we will definitely be back!
Amazing Fantastic meal and exceptional service. Looking forward to our next trip for the best burger in town. Great cocktails and excellent cakes.
Great service with excellent food and recommendations from Becca! The cauliflower bites and zombie cocktail were gorgeous, couldn’t recommend more!
We were really looked after and had a great time thank you!
Brilliant food, lively environment!
Great service, lovely food and £5 cocktails on a early Fri yay evening, what’s not to like 😀
We had a great time! The staff were all great. We really happy with the majority of the food. We had a table for food and then stayed for more drinks to wait for the live acts.
The only thing i would say was that we were told the band would be on at 9:45/10pm. We had been there since just before 6pm and decided to stay for drinks around 8pm after finishing at the table for food.
The band didn’t arrive until 10:45pm and didn’t start until after 11 so we were a bit fed up by this point and decided to go home around 11:30pm when the taxi came. But overall it was a good night here.
This was a real surprise. Never been here before. Had the best pork ribs ever with an excellent side salad. Great atmosphere and lovely historic building. Rebecca our waiter was fabulous and extremely efficient. Perfect for the Opera house. Will definitely go again.
Every member of staff was outstanding, friendly, helpful yet completely professional. Food was lovely, just could have done with a couple more options. Will be returning very soon.
Food was absolutely brilliant and we made the most of £5 cocktails! Wait staff were brilliant and even recommended a great cocktail. Amazing experience!
Excellent food, Fantastic atmosphere, brilliant live music, we spent two fabulous evenings in the Blues Kitchen on out recent mini break
I would recommend The Blues Kitchen in general, but I wouldn't get overexcited! Initially, I enjoyed the ribs and mac 'n' cheese, but then the ribs got sickly as they're too sweet and not smokey enough, and the mac 'n' cheese actually got bland after eating the top bits so we added pepper... I do think the mac 'n' cheese texture is perfect though and the ribs are super juicy!
The Cheeseburger was good, but nothing extraordinary. The slaw was refreshing and the chips were well-made (looked like McDonald's) but super salty! The cornbread dipped in honey reccommendation wasn't great as it was quite stodgy and didn't add to the meal...!
Portions were very good - which is possibly why the food became sickly.
It was very quiet on a Tuesday lunch - possibly because people have just spent a ton at Christmas, and due to the new variant.
However, what made it an enjoyable experience was the service. Always smiling, asking how the food was, etc. (possibly becaues it was quiet)
It was my friend's birthday but we were too full to order dessert, so when we got up to leave, the waitress gave us a box of their oreo doughnuts to take home, which was a lovely touch!
Amazing stuff! very friendly, which surprised me. Food was good, but high price for the value. Good beers and drinks. Live music is a key thing, very nice to have a gig while having food and drinks.
Excellent food, service v& atmosphere!
Burger and chips came cold but were very apologetic and dealt with it straight away. food was amazing and so was the service would reccomend
Lovely service and delicious burgers 🍔 Beautiful venue too!
Lovely staff as always. Food top notch. Can never fault it. Boxed up what I had left so was able to bring the rest home. My fav restaurant in manny.
Three mains delivered and two of us had finished before fourth arrived.
Food slightly warm.
Other people given birthday song and free dessert but even though I had told them it was a special birthday when booked they didn’t do anything for us., then to add insult to injury charged us for five mains instead of four.
Very disappointed as we were all very much looking forward to it.
Absolutely delicious food. Lovely and enthusiastic staff surprised my husband with free desert and a birthday candle. Much appreciated what a lovely gesture. Superb decor and definitely will be back.
Lovely staff and very friendly. It is a great venue: the food was too expensive for what was offered.
The food and service was fantastic! Everyone who served us was helpful and conversational. Will be visiting there again very soon. The bacon gravy is stunning!
