    Food was lovely, came really fast, small portions for the price, only downfall was the beef melt had loads of fatty meat in it

    My boyfriend and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary at The Blues Kitchen on a Monday (£6 margarita night ayyy). We both said that this was the best dining experience that we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was insane. It was so lively. The interior looked amazing, it was very grand. The singer/band added a cool vibe, they were brilliant! Food was definitely worth the price. We’re proper foodies and we know what’s good, our meal was incredible! It’s hard to get mac & cheese right and they certainly got it right! All the workers were lovely. Special shoutout to Aldo who served us, so caring and we loved his energy. We got free drinks and a discount! We will definitely come back when we’re in the area again. 10000% recommend!!

    We had drinks accidentally spilled on us by the waitress and the waitress who took our order kept getting it wrong. We ordered sides which they had recommended and we had to ask 3 times for the sides and then as we were finishing our meal they said it would be another 7 minutes and didn’t appreciate the sides should come with the meal and then was rude and didn’t come to our table again. We cancelled the sides as it was too late. Some of the service was good and chatting but the originally waitress just had an attitude like she didn’t want to be there.

    Our favourites restaurant in Manchester. Amazing burgers, great salads, wonderful service. Love the dining room too - so cool.

    It was our first date night in a while so was really looking forward to it before going to the opera house. It wasn’t very busy when we arrived, 4 tables in the restaurant area. We ordered straight away, and our food arrived within 15 minutes so really quick. Cannot fault the food at all, seasoning on the fries was amazing and the chicken gravy was so so good! However, our waitress was extremely invasive and found her to be quite annoying and unprofessional. She saw me browsing the cocktail menu once our food had arrived and she decided to come and stand over me asking me what I like (sweet, sour etc) and after feeling pressured into buying another cocktail, she came back while we were eating and stood over me again trying to upsell the bottomless brunch options. This was while we were eating, we had to stop eating our food and converse with her while she stood and talked to us for what felt like 15 minutes, resulting in our food going cold. This made us very uncomfortable, and we couldn’t wait to leave. Unfortunately it then took us a long, long time to get our bill due to a swap in staff and more people arriving at peak time. We would have liked to stay for more drinks but it just felt like it had been ruined for us. Will not be returning unfortunately.
