A warm welcome from our family lead team, a seasonal menu of European and British dishes sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients sits along side a regularly changing specials board. Simon, Tom and the kitchen team are incredibly passionate about their food and offering dishes that you will want to eat.

A well chosen range of wines, beers and spirits, sourced from local suppliers offer something for every thirst!

The pub has a great feel with a statement dining room, dog friendly Agricultural Bar and unique and stunning garden for the sunny days. We hope everyone will enjoy their visit to us

    We enjoyed our food today, I would have given all 5 stars but our beef was quite fatty & couldn't eat it all. The rest of the food was lovely though. The staff were busy & ensured that everyone was happy. It was a busy afternoon.

    Nice surroundings, but cold. Appreciate the time of year and an old pub is hard to heat but not as comfortable as it might have been otherwise. Food was very good, nice wine, service good. Would come back but probably in the summer or in a thicker jumper!

    Once again this stunning lcountry pub meets beyond expectations! Food is Fantastic ! Service is also Fabulous along with being just a charming place to be. Thank you Boars … next stop Kings Head in just a couple of weeks ;)

    First time we have eaten at the Boars but certainly not the last. The food and service was excellent we will return!
