Service was a little lacking, as it was a quite night we would have expected to been checked on other then once. We may have ordered more drinks that way.

Lovely friendly staff made this a great evening. We sat outside with a lovely view of the sun setting over the lake and trees. We all had enjoyed our meals and wine. We would definitely come back.

All the food was great. Quick to come out and lovely place to have lunch. Went for the birthday lunch and had no issues with storing the cake. Everything was lovely.

We had a lovely time, service was fantastic. Friendly staff. Meal was delicious. Had a lovely time down by the pool before dinne. Grounds well maintained. Overall a great weekend away, would highly recommend.

I am sorry to say that our latest experience at the Boat Shed was very ordinary. We have been here many times before and really enjoyed it but it was a very disappointing experience on Sunday. The service was pretty lacklustre- we were offered coffees on arrival and then after 30mins of waiting for someone to take our food order, we had to ask to have our food orders taken. We then waited for AGES for the food to come out and there were hardly any other customers in the place. When the food finally arrived the bacon on some plates was basically still raw and so some were sent back. The mushrooms were supposed to have feta and there was supposed to be a rocket and mint salad-no feta and no mint and the mushrooms were generally pretty awful. I was also disappointed that there were no sweet items on the breakfast menu- only savoury items. I hate leaving negative feedback but something has definitely changed out there and it's not for the better.

Love the Boatshed everytime I eat here the food and service never disappoints.

My friends and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch in a perfect setting! All staff were friendly and helpful, and the views over beautiful Lake Hume were stunning. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal, especially the parmi which was voted the best ever! Well done to the Boat Shed team!

Tried Mexican night for the first time and loved it

Lovely meal and ambience at The Boatshed Lake Hume mid week.
We enjoyed a drink out on the balcony and then decided, as it was an early booking to stay out on the balcony.
Food and service were both excellent.
Well done Boatshed!

The staff were so friendly, the food and cocktails were amazing, the view was beautiful and I loved the boat design of the bar.

We will be coming back with friends and family in tow.

I’d only recommend this restaurant if you are kid free and dinning with people who don’t have limited diets. They have a short menu and tend to run of items. In our case it was the the buns for the kids hamburger and the kid couldn’t anything else to eat. They went ahead and cooked the adults food before even telling us that they were out of buns. Bit disappointed in terms of organisation and service. But food was good and venue has a nice view

The Boat Shed is set at the beautiful Hume Weir surrounds. It is a great casual dining place. The food and service were very good. A very good range of drinks also.

Would highly recommend this location as well as the fact it’s kid friendly

I have dined previously and food was sensational, however we had a group of 14 there the other day for lunch on my recommendation and food (especially the fish was very basic). 1 meal was forgotten, but I will still return.
