Our Head Chef, Phil Yates, has created a menu which offers everything from 28 day aged prime steaks, to classic bistro favourites. Our bar and lounge are comfortable places to relax before or after your meal. On sunny days you can enjoy a drink on our garden terrace. The bright Botanist bistro at Keavil House is perfect for Sunday lunch or dinner on any evening. We offer fixed price menu of traditional roasts and bistro favourites for Sunday lunch and a children's menu is always available. You can reserve a table for Sunday lunch from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and for dinner in the evening from 6.00pm to 8.45pm.

If you are celebrating a birthday, an engagement, a wedding anniversary or a family occasion we promise to make the event special for you. You can reserve a private dining rooms for your special occassion dining.

We made a reservation online half an hour before arriving, we got there exactly on time and were told that they could not honour service at that time. There was a very big party in and I saw that the reservation book had big crossings out for a pre-booked party across the time I had booked just half an hour earlier. They offered a later slot, but with such a big party just having settled down I declined as I supposed there would be a long delay in the food arriving. The restaurant management need to ensure proper coordination of online bookings with reality in the dining room.

My husband's chicken liver pate seemed shop bought and when he asked for it was slid onto the table in foil packaging straight from fridge and not presented on dish. Our steaks were good, as was wine and apple crumble. Red wine seemed to be served in white wine glasses.

I had a fabulous birthday meal at the restaurant. The vegetarian haggis meal was absolutely amazing I've never tasted anything like it I highly recommend. Also was treated to a glass of prosecco for my birthday. Thank you.

Food and service is always lovely but I’m conscious that with things like the Kiev burger it would be good to offer a smaller portion as well or an option with salad.

My meal was good, my wife had the steak and wasn't overly impressed with it. The service was good enough when they came to the table but too often we were left waiting and then had to try to grab someone's attention. The meal wasn't exactly value for money and you can get similar meals elsewhere for much less
