Excellent host , had the meal booked at 8.30, but arrived 3/4hr early, were able to find a snug place to sit and was advised that we could order from there & go to our table when ready , brilliant, nice range of beers etc
A great night , didn’t leave until 11pm , we were the last ones there
Had a Fabulous meal with friends, we all enjoyed it. Sea bream with a hot salad very yum and chocolate pecan brownie for desert. We will be going there again very soon.
We have been several times now but this time wasn’t quite as nice as usual
Excellent service and delicious food the only thing that was a bit annoying we had 2 flies buzzing around us
From the moment you enter you are greeted with a “Genuine” smile.
Bar and Restaurant staff all very welcoming, knowledgeable and wanting to help.
I have no negatives bar that I had to leave as they were closing.
It was my second visit and most definitely will not be my last.
Had a lovely night out here. Our waiter was lovely, the food was very nice and the building was beautiful. Only thing i disliked was the way one staff member spoke to another behind the bar, i thought her manner was quite rude and i felt for the poor girl she was being so rude to. This is not something i appreciated seeing especially in what was such a lovely place where all other staff members were so friendly.
A most pleasant experience, as usual. Some bread with the starters (for mopping up sauces & juices) as standard and more vegetables with the main course would have been appreciated....
Another excellent meal with everything exceeding expectations, all set in a traditional Norfolk pub atmosphere
A lovely Sunday lunch, enjoyed the gardens and the ambiance inside. Just right.
Excellent in all respects, as usual at the Brisley Bell.
Our once a month treat and never disappointed, we shall return
We arrived on a sunny evening making the large garden seating very inviting. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their food and drink. Our meal came quite quickly, and never felt rushed by the staff between coarses, yet didn't feel neglected either. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will be making the 45min trip again.
All round lovely place love it! We have been coming to the Bell since it opened and it’s still perfect no matter what the occasion. Beautifully interior designed by the owners so has a very personal touch. We wish them continued success.
lovely location very friendly staff, food very good.....and very tastefully renovated.....
The only issue is the lack of vegetarian options which restricts use by several people I know. Shame .
Otherwise excellent in all respects re staff, service, venue , food quality and quantity.
Would recommend to all . Great ambience , lovely hot food, welcoming but professional staff, wide variations on the menu .
Excellent food, good value, lovely staff. A bit noisy and the chips could have been crispier. Portion sizes a bit too big, but overall a great find and great experience
Delicious good and excellent service in cosy surroundings.
A fabulous meal as always - never been disappointed. Friendly efficient staff and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The best place to go in north norfolk!
fab food, atmosphere and staff - thoroughly recommend!!
The Brisley Bell was highly recommended by friends to my wife and myself and we were not disappointed. Food, service and ambience were all excellent.
Excellent food and service again.
We have never been disappointed after .
2nd visit, 2nd fabulous meal. Food is lovely. Setting is beautiful and the staff are professional but friendly.
Fantastic as always! This time we sat out in the garden, the staff were excellent and the dogs loved it.
Once again both food and service have excelled, we are never disappointed
We have dined at the Bell on a number of occasions since the extensive refurbishment and have had a lovely evening on each occasion!
All I can say is EXCELLENT in every way. Can’t wait to visit again !
hadn't been to the bell for years, and I wanted somewhere nice to take a lady out for dinner so I thought I would give it a try, we were both really impressed with the changes, the staff was fabulous and it has a great atmosphere we will definitely go back.
Welcoming, good food, good service, could be noisy at peak times and forks with the sweets would be nice especially with the very nice pavlova .
I could not fault the friendly efficient service and the lovely food . It’s currently our favourite place to go for a family celebration.
Up to the standard we have come to expect. Another delicious meal and the liver is to die for!
Waited 25 minutes to be asked for a drink at the table and when it came it was wrong and the beer was off . Steak was terrible looked liked it came off a side off a road like road kill overall service was terrible. And we were really disappointed in the whole meal etc
Our son found the Bell for mother’s day, and what a memorable day it was the place is fantastic with lovely staff, amazing food, good wine list, fab desserts, comfortable and quite intriguing too. We have been back twice now and found it memorable each time. It will also be great in the summer with the lovely garden and common, a real chill out place, What a find, well done Amelia and Marcus.
Lovely food and atmosphere! Service was friendly and welcoming, will be returning soon. Thank you very much.
Elegant dining with exceptional service and very good food. Really difficult to complain about anything !!
Lovely food and wine in an attractive building with friendly service.
Excellent service and very nice food. Lovely decor, and ambiance.
Outstanding lunch. Great service and ambiance. Highly recommend for almost any occasion
Best Sunday lunch we've ever had! Even before desserts were finished the next Sunday lunch here was already booked - and we are not locals (live circa 3hrs from the Bell)! Totally worth the drive. The atmosphere, the food, the wine, the service, the smell of fireplace - everything is just perfect and all you could ever with for a Sunday lunch!
Lovely food for a Sunday lunch with family , dog friendly too which is great 😊
