Such a lovely and quant place to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there and so did my boyfriend. The staff were friendly and we even had a laugh with them about the Christmas music that was playing. They were sticking to the coronavirus guidlines which made it feel safe to eat there.
I cannot fault anything about my time there and I cannot wait to go back!

As usual staff and food first class but on this occasion the building was very cold.

It was a lovely lunch for a special birthday. The room was very cold-there seemed to be a problem with the fire.
The staff were nice but not overly enthusiastic.
There was a bit of a wait for the meal but the food was good when it arrived.
Overall it was nice - but it could have been very nice with just a little more effort!

Marvellous to be able to enjoy a lovely meal, in convivial surroundings. Well managed and socially distanced at all times. The food is delicious and although limited menu currently is most enjoyable with a good choice of mains and puddings.

The meal was lovely. But it was the Santa’s grotto that really made it 5 star!

My husband and I had a late lunch at the Campaign Room Bistro on a Thursday afternoon. It was a bit too quiet probably due to our latd lunch slot. All staff were very welcoming and professional. Of particular note was Isabella who was excellent - very friendly, knowledgable and attentive. We had the Christmas lunch. The quality of the food was amazing and it was beautifully presented. The dessert I had (peanut butter mousse with caramel, biscuit and pretzels) was very creative and so tasty. We were encouraged to take a look around the hotel's lounges - what a beautiful place. We will definitely be back to sample the afternoon tea next time. Excellent place for a special occasion or just for a little bit of indulgence. Value for money was also very good.

Well organised food was delicious service first class definitely recommended

We eat here quite often. The terrine was not as good as usual and I had to send my steak back. I asked for medium and it was quite raw and colds in the centre. Shame. This is normally a good place to eat, but failed this time. Hopefully next time is back up to its usual standard.

Very tasty good food. Due to current circumstances it was a restricted menu but this did not detract from a very enjoyable experience.

Very pleasant surrounds with lovely log fire, Made to feel welcome from arrival to leaving. Staff lady had good sense of humour & was never far away for our needs.
Have been here many times before & the standard never drops. Love the yorkie puds.

We had a lovely lunch. The portions were perfect and the food arrived piping hot.
The staff were friendly and very attentive.

Delicious food and lovely surroundings. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. It was very quiet due to venues being unable to play background music as a result of the covid restrictions, which in my opinion impacts the overall ambience. Hopefully these restrictions will be reviewed soon to allow venues such as Carberry to operate more normally in terms of being able to serve a glass of wine with a meal and play some background music.

Fantastic food and excellent service.y only dislike was that there wasn't any ambient music as it was terribly quiet but I understand that's not the venue's doing.

An excellent meal, food was delicious, everyone cleared their plate. Service was excellent, efficient and friendly. Only marked down on atmosphere and ambience as (understandably) they are using another room as well as the main bistro room for dining to allow for suitable distancing of tables (it was very spaced out) however the other room has less character and lacked a little in atmosphere. This didn't take away from the beautiful meal though.

Still a lovely place to eat even with the current restrictions and reduced menu.

We dined at The Bistro during the 20% off period. Therefore, we got value for money. My starter of mackerel pate was absolutely delicious, if somewhat a very small portion, I could have easily ate twice as much. My husband had the blue cheese and pear tart and that was lovely. The burger and chips were very enjoyable. Staff was very attentive and professional, the ambience was very quiet but that was no-one's fault, it just wasn't very busy while we were there. I will definitely return as the building itself is spectacular and well worth a visit.
