At the Cartford Inn, we offer a brand of hospitality that is truly unique, hallmarked by an award-winning restaurant, boutique hotel, delicatessen and art gallery. Our location is enviable, with guests able to enjoy panoramic views of the Ribble Valley and Fylde countryside whilst dining. Our décor is quirky and eclectic, in keeping with our building’s 17th century heritage, but with a modernist twist.

Of course the main attraction is our 2-Rosette winning, Michelin recommended restaurant. Run by head chef Chris Bury, we offer the finest quality food without the fuss, in an atmosphere that is warm and unpretentious. Expect a discernible French influence, evidenced by our renowned French onion soup – a dish that is well worth a visit in its own right.

Decided to eat here at short notice from a recommendation from a friend at work, was looking forward to a Sunday lunch but because we ate late their was no Sunday lunch left. But ko problem we had steaand suet pudding which we enjoyed very much it was absolutely delicious.

Absolutely fabulous evening for my brothers 65th birthday The food was excellent especially the fillet steaks cooked to perfection. The waiters were friendly and knowledgeable and the service was great Will definitely return

First time going to dine here and what a wonderful experience it was. Beautiful setting with views in to the river. Lovely service from the team, and food was amazing!! Our new go to place for dinner. Well done all!

Lovely place! We had Sunday lunch in one of their greenhouses outside. our table was booked for 3.15pm All our meals were excellent lamb shoulder was beautiful, nut roast, suet pudding and two roast beef dinners. Little disappointed our request for extra Yorkshire puddings was declined due to the fact they only had enough for the rest of the day :/ we also had to remind waiter of drinks. We waited for plates to be cleared and dessert menus but nobody came so I sent my daughter inside to pay and left. It wasn’t overly busy as we were the only guests outside little disappointed with the service.
