Wouldn’t recommend at all, food is not value for money what so ever.
Nice food, especially the salmon, unique cosy setting, great music by Ray cox and all of us had a great time.
The restaurant is hidden in the cellar - which with a name like vaults you would expect. I made a reservation but it really wasn’t needed. We were seated in the lounge section of the bar and the food was alright for bar/pub food. Honestly with a name like Castle Vaults I was expecting more... it was just another pub.
Best fish and chips I've ever had. Very fresh tasting. The chips were hot and tasted like they were just cut. Been there twice, had fish twice. Traveling to Dublin again in a week. Want to try some other dish, but I sure would miss the fish.
The waiter remembered me from my first visit. He remembered what I ate and drank and where I sat!! Like the cozy atmosphere and great local music. I'll be back.
Great service. Staff was very attentive. The 70s disco/R&B were not to my liking. Rib eye was excellent!
Very good food , great value and efficient friendly service
Over price and over charged. Food was nice and atmosphere. Nice interior.
We called late and showed up later, they were gracious and seated us where we could enjoy the fabulous ambience and music while still enjoying our conversations with our family. They met all of our food needs/requests and exceeded our expectations. The soup was fabulous, the Cod delicious. The Shepard pie dishes were exactly as expected or better than we thought they'd be. The steak was shared, I was the only one disappointed, I eat mine very rare usually this was overdone even for the medium we agreed upon. It made for a lovely evening.
We ate here while staying in Dublin, having found it on the Open Table app. Excellent underground restaurant at hotel, perfect if you love steak! The lounge after dinner was a great place to relax and we loved the live music!
I waited for half an hour, and nobody even said hello, let alone took my order. Abysmal service
