Ten years on from the thought that never left him, is now a reality.
Today the concept of casual style and fine food bistro sitting along side a delicatssen & wine shop is still relatively new to the UK, is now a reality in Liverpool.
Gary and his team have tried to source as much their organic produce from the local area. Many of the products in the delicatessen are new to Liverpool and the UK.

Really friendly, professional staff. Excellent food, both in quality and value for money. They have an extensive wine rack attached to the restaurant that customers can purchase. The restaurant is small but cosy. Decor outstanding, check out the full size mural on the wall to the right after entering. Stairs up to the dining area (didn't see a lift).
It was a Friday night and Liverpool was busy but this restaurant was not which says it all. The place lacked atmosphere. The service was just OK. Only went because it offered guests at our hotel a 10% discount. After ordering 2 drinks at the bar with bread & olives (the bread was dry), opted for just one main course. I had lamb which was raw rather than pink with little meat & a tasteless ratatouille & partner had seafood pasta which was again tasteless & may have come from a packet and the pasta was over cooked. All in all not a pleasant experience and left as soon as possible

Really great food and drink! We were on a short break in Liverpool and checked this place out. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very welcoming and the food was delicious. Great knowledge of the wine list and even got some tips about what we should visit in the city! Thank you!
Saturday evening dinner booked on OpenTable. Reservation at 20.30. We left after 22.00 because the mains had still not arrived. Party of teenagers upstairs and this probably meant restaurant could not cope. Chef was kind but told us at 22.00 that she had just got our chit 15 minutes before. So she has been let down by poor front of restaurant organization. Music was good. Maybe come for a drink but I don't think a reliable weekend dinner venue.
