Food and venue were great but the guard at the door was rude and abrupt.
Everything was yummy. Try the baked camenbert.
Don’t recommend anyone sit inside, too hot, no air flow. We sat there sweating with no air circulation.
Enjoyed all aspects of my visit, including the ambience of surroundings and delicious meals served, but particularly the quality of service provided. Will certainly return soon.
the steak was charred too much outside , but it tasted good on the inside
Food was inedible. Burnt gnocchi. Chewy “slow cooked” lamb. Was refunded without a drama. Staff were polite. But won’t eat here again.
The table service was brilliant - food as always was mouth watering - drinks just great
We had a booking for 1930, arriving early 1830 and were Kindly accommodated. We ordered the 400grm slow roasted lamb to only be told 10 minutes later they had run out. This should have been communicated at the time of placing our order.
Aside from the Smoked Bacon beer running out, it was a fantastic experoence. Highly recommend.
Great service, food was amazing (huge pizzas and the steak was delicious)!
Fantastic food and drink, great location and very friendly staff. Jasmine took great care of us during our meal.
Good food with decent portion sizes. A good variety of drinks. Attentive service
Top notch pub food. Pizzas are outstanding. Highly recommend.
Good service but the lamb was very overcooked. Left most of meal as too hard to eat.
The waiter was brilliant very social and attentive
First-time diner and thoroughly impressed. Service and food were outstanding. A meal of ours was stuffed up and the service team and chefs were super apologetic and even gave us free bread because of the mix-up (which we were not expecting at all)!
I asked for no chilli sauce on my burger and it was on their.Told waiter and he didn’t careless.Won’t be back
Really enjoyed our visit to the charming squire, our waiter Jess was fantastic! Lovely and very accommodating.
Great service, great food, great value for money. Will be back!
Great venue and beer. The service was great however due to miscommunication we received our mains after entree would have appreciated it straight after. The staff did not check with us.
Perfect place for a date night, good food, music and a bar
Great location for a family catch up. Wide range of Beers and Food.
Very nice comfy setting, great ice cold beers and good food.
Had the worst restaurant meal I have had for years.
It was so salty that I couldn't eat it.
Even my friends pizza was salty.
While the music was a little loud for talking and conversation it was good.
Service not great - staff at the door said they did not have our booking and didn’t receive menus to order food for over an hour. Other than that was okay.
We had the most amazing anniversary dinner at The Charming Squire. Everything from the food to the service was brilliant. We’re definitely going to regulars.
Really great food, atmosphere and service. Also was really good value for money. Would definitely dine here again.
The staff and service were amazing along with great atmosphere not to mention the food was flawless
Service is fast and friendly including the door security. Food is fresh and on par with the price. No long wait for food. Very good selection of wines and (obviously) beer. I'd say a bit better than good-value.
Exceeded expectations, fabulous food, cosy seating. Only let down was that they had run out of XPA.
I love the ambiance and service is to be commended.
We enjoyed our time at Charming Squire and will come back again!
What a lovely evening at the Charming Squire. Table staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Pizza di carne was excellent as was the Arancini balls and baked Camembert the 4 of us shared for entree.
We all enjoyed a sparkling wine.
Highly recommend - Especially while its not too busy!
Went on Sunday evening and in the restaurant it was pretty quiet. The food came fast and it was delicious. Friendly service, and the beer I was recommended was great too. Overall, awesome experience, and for the price you pay it is 100% worth it
My wife and I went in for a rare kid free dinner. Of the 5 mains mentioned on the menu three were unavailable. The two remaining were of no interest to us and therefore dining in wasn’t an option and as the hour was late we found it difficult to book anywhere else.
Wrong order , two dishes were not as advertised, requests at service of drinks not correct.
Great chill venue for dinner and drinks with friends.
Covid safe plan worked well and the food was excellent as always
Pork belly was delicious, and the arancini balls! Highly recommend :) Only downfall was garlic bread was a little different to usual - maybe needed some butter on the bread, we love garlic but both agreed it was too intense. House wine was also great!
