The Cinnamon Club is a fantastic venue in the heart of London. We originally had a table booked for much later in the evening but they were able to seat us a couple of hours earlier as our plans changed. The food was lovely, but not amazing to be honest. Having said that my partner thoroughly enjoyed his 30th birthday celebrations!

Interesting restaurant, both food and decor. The service was excellent. The food was very good, but just a bit spicy for me. For sure I shall return.

Always an excellent experience. This was a business meal and my guest opted for the set menu and so I joined her expecting the food to be sub par compared to the the a la carte menu. Nothing could have been further from the truth- the meal was marvellous and spectacular value.

I booked the Cinnamon Club for a special birthday supper for my Son's 22nd birthday and the whole experience lived up to its reputation. Food truly exquisite and the setting was very interesting. We were looked after by Paulina and her attentive service made the evening a pleasurable experience.

When I arrived, they said there was no reservation for me, though they had called me the day before for my confirmation. However, there is a table available for me. Food and service are very good. I look forward to visiting again.

Can’t fault the food, seriously amazing; however the service is appalling. No water refill for the entirety of our meal. Took 20 minutes to get the bill and pay for it. For the price excellent service is expected.

The Cinnamon restaurant is in a lovely and unique setting amongst the old library. The food was delicious and creative and the staff were very attentive and helpful. My partner received a cake with a candle to celebrate his birthday and the cocktail was thoroughly enjoyable. It is quite pricey but considering the setting and attention to detail it is worth every penny. We will definitely be returning.

Seated, water offered then c.15 mins before anything turned up is such lousy service gonna be the abiding memory? Had to call a staff member over and make ‘em wait to take order....then Chris appears & turns the memory around aided by some quite delectable food(& a dessert menu of difference)....Chris’s shift over I guess & service deteriorated...Chris & cooks make for good memories & recommendations...

After a talk nearby my friend and I decided to get a nice meal, so booked on Opentable and had a great offer going. The food was stunning - great Indian flavours as they should be - light and cleverly done. We had a wait at our reserved time but wasn’t too long. The setting in a library and the ambience was perfect for a conversation with the right amount of buzz.

The food was great, an interesting take on Indian food. The restaurant in the library creates a lovely feel, along with receipt arriving in a book! The only downside was the how busy it became after 9pm, this meant the staff were stretched trying manage everybody. However, they tried to be as attentive as possible.

Not happy with one of your staff
When asked about the food we were disappointed with the naan bread wasn’t as fresh as expected and the waiter tried to say if we had brought it to his attention earlier he could have had it changed, as if it was our fault the bread wasn’t fresh. And we may have done if somebody would have come and asked if all was ok earlier

Good food & drink. Nice and quiet due to us visiting on a Monday. Only two downsides ... firstly that the majority of the waiting staff (barring one!) didn't smile. Secondly after leaving the restaurant we saw a couple of the chef's smoking with whites on (with cinnamon club logo on). I'll be honest & say I know it's not the biggest crime in the world but it would make me think twice about going back again.

It was Mother’s Day, and we ate from the £50 per person set menu. The food was absolutely delicious with a good selection to choose from (two veggie options on the starters and on the mains lists). Staff were attentive but not intrusive and the venue and ambience were great!

Our table was out of the way.
We waited 45 minutes for our cocktails to arrive in spite of a number of requests.
We ordered the tasting menu with wine - the wine was delivered pre-served. We would expect to see the bottle for each wine.
Overall very disappointing for an establishment of this standing.

Insanely loud...ironic for a former library. Our waiter went outside on a break. Getting any staff attention was difficult. Our requested top up of water kept being delivered to adjacent tables. Tables crammed together. We were seated at what appeared to be the only table without a tablecloth. Interesting cocktails. Food unobjectionable.

Visited for our anniversary. There's no sign outside the entrance so we walked past a couple of times! However, The Cinnamon Club is a lovely venue, the food was excellent and the service was average. It was busy but not overcrowded so we could speak to each other without yelling! Drinks were expensive though, £5.50 for half of a draft Cobra. We had a nice time and I would visit again.

My 2nd visit there. This time for lunch with three friends - we chose the good-value set menu which was delicious and it's an interesting and atmospheric venue in the old Westminster Library BUT it took over two and a half hours to serve it. The unhurried-looking staff left us sitting for long gaps between taking orders for courses and then long waiting times for delivery of each course. We were losing the will to live especially by the dessert course which, despite indicating we were keen to speed up and then get coffee and the bill, had the longest waiting time for delivery. No explanation or apology. Doubt if I would bother going back.

Despite booking in advance, and being told our table would be ready in 10mins of arrival, after waiting an hour for our table to be free we left without eating. No effective communication or reason provided by the staff, including the manager. Sadly we weren’t the only people in a similar situation that night. We had my husbands birthday supper elsewhere

The Cinnamon Club has a fantastic buzz and is a great venue for couples or larger parties. Unfortunately on this occasion we were given a table in a side room to the main restaurant which had none of the ambience that the Club is renowned for. I asked to move (especially as I had specified when I called them that I wanted a table in the main part of the restaurant). We moved and the rest of our experience was a memorable one, save for the longer-than-usual wait for our main course.
