We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu, which delivered an excellent array of flavours and textures. The matching wines were, for the most part, equally good. The star of the show was the Portuguese red served with the lamb starter - both elements were delicious.

Our only slight gripe was that we were rushed into the first couple of courses.

Amazing as always! careful Covid friendly set up and an evening to remember.

Decided to go for the 7 course tasting menu paired with wine. Seriously expensive but with the surrounds and the really tasty food and the really good wine it was really enjoyable as every course suited us.

I just think the service was lacking but that was probably because it was after lockdown no 2 and just before moving back to tier 3 so the restaurant wasn’t busy at all and we were last to leave and staff rightly peeved off with the stop start of working.

I will save up again to do this again when the restaurant is in full bloom.

The Ambience and Service could not be faulted - we ordered the set Sunday Menu and I was really disappointed with the taste experience of my dish presented as Duck Breast accompanied with Vindaloo Curry Sauce plus the potato Paratha served was floury in taste and undercooked - I have to say quite frankly that I have had a very much better quality taste experience of vindaloo sauce from the majority of my past Indian Takeaway purchases.

Had the lunchtime set menu which was lovely and surprisingly filling.

An experience! Had been aware of the place for years and so had been looking forward. It's a great space and the food and service were immaculate.

Absolutely superb. The food is truly inspired.

The layers of flavour are absolutely wonderful.

No fusion cooking here, but western influences in technique create an amazing experience.

Their staff pitch their attention perfectly, are extremely helpful, and add enormously to the experience.

Our first time at the cinnamon club this weekend (husband and I) - we went for a la carte. Great choices on the menu and starters plus mains were excellent. We shared the srikhand cheesecake for dessert which was yummy. I was pleased that the tables were spaced out to meet social distancing standards. Loved the ambience and the relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely visit again

The cinnamon club is a very special place, with incredible food, and perfect service. If you love Indian cuisine it's an absolute must visit.

Great food but the service was awful - the food took forever to come and the waiting staff didn’t come over to apologise and almost seemed to be avoiding us. Would have expected better.

We spent a beautiful evening at the Cinnamon Club for my daughter's 18th. Our food was simply delicious and the service offered by Hari and the team was impeccable. A very special evening which we will remember for years to come.

This restaurant is great for a special occasion. The food is amazing and the atmosphere wonderful. The staff could not do enough for you but did not fuss around you unnecessarily. There is an extensive wine list and the menu offers a wide choice of dishes. We will definitely return.

The food was excellent, we did the tasting menu and the portion size was very good I have a big appetite and was surprisingly stuffed. We had it with the paired wines option a must, excellent wines.
The staff were very nice and kind.

Taster menu allows you to explore several dishes all with a wide range of different spices and flavours. Would recommend for a special occasion.

The only feedback is they should take more care of their bathrooms as they were very cold and some cubicles need attention and a good clean.

Overall a disappointing experience! Our table was not ready (30min wait) and got directed to the bar and only to be greeted by the barmen to say that he is really busy! No one asked to take our coats and hats to the cloakroom and had to sit in the bar with the items on our laps. Once seated we had to ask twice for a glass of water (tap). I asked for a recommendation for a glass of white wine to accompany my meal, I was told the Sommelier will call over to our table. Instead a waitress brought over two glasses of the same wine to the table which happens to be the same as what my friend had ordered. No sommelier but she convinced us that this was the best choice for our meal (the glass of Riesling was fine) but I would have appreciated the sommeliers recommendation. The main course was the Halibut fillet (which we both had) and no warning about the large bones in the menu or from the waiter who served us! From a health and safety point of view this is really dangerous for a customer. We did feed this back to the waiting staff at the time but fell on deaf ears.

Great food, the service and ambience were fantastic. Staff attentive.

Initially put in the side room but we asked to be moved to the main dining room which is much nicer.
The service was occasionally a little slow, but always friendly and charming, and the food excellent.
My wife commented that her starter was one of the best she’d ever had (Norwegian crab) and my main was fantastic!!! (The lamb).
All in all a really fab experience.

Food was great, service was slow. We were placed in a side room from the main restaurant which felt like an after thought. Felt like we were there because we had booked through open table or maybe weren’t dressed right? It took 40 mins for our order to be taken last Saturday evening and we bad to chase twice. After that it was quick and the food was great.

A number of other tables sat in the same area asked to move to the main restaurant.

Booths at the side are the best place to sit but nowhere is bad. The old library ambiance is lovely and the lighting spot on. We opted for the Christmas menu, which was lovely but too much food for us, so would go a la carte in future.

I was skeptical about trying the early dinner set menu at £30pp - it was exceptional; a taste sensation for a bargain and you won’t leave hungry.

Fantastic food - but, booked for an early dinner set menu, and weren’t given the option. Waiter didn’t know anything about it either - rather frustrating if I’m honest, this is now the second time this has happened at cinnamon club..

Excellent food but the service could have been sharper. It wasn’t busy but we were left for a long time. Great value though.

The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the company I was with was awful and embarrassing! So, I’d definitely recommend the restaurant and will be going back but with somebody else....

Not my first visit as I love it here but both my friends who I was with had not been before and loved the food and whole experience

Absolutely enjoyed the main course and the side dish order of lentils.

Fabulous dining room, lovely food and great service. Marred only by noise. We were in a booth next to a party of four who were genuinely shouting and bellowing. Other diners were all glancing over and were clearly having their evening disrupted too. It meant we finished our mains and left rather than thinking about dessert, coffee etc.

Wow! We had wanted to come here for a while and caught it just before Lockdown 2. We went for the Monday half price Taster Menu and were not disappointed. The tandoori prawn was out of this world and how do they get their meat so tender? It is impossible to eat this food fast – it has to be savoured. Delicious.

Lovely relaxed evening with attentive but not over zealous staff. Excellent, delicious food, fairly decent sized portions but could be a little larger given the prices. The dessert far too small but absolutely delicious. Kind attention given it was our Anniversary.

A truly wonderful lunch to celebrate a big birthday for my husband. Service and food were excellent - the set lunch is remarkable value and their Kerala Fish Curry sets the gold standard for this dish! A lovely birthday sponge cake was an unexpected surprise and a kind thought by the restaurant. It was quieter than usual because of Covid-19 but we enjoyed the occasion very much.
