Did not sit in the main dining area so ambiance was not very good.
Service was slow especially when we arrived. There was confusion between two waiters on who will be getting the drinks etc!
Food was very good, although the ocra dish we ordered was a bit chewy
Will give it another try

Food was good, but shockingly overpriced considering the level of restaurant waitering & supervisor staff. Seems that no training has been given, and lot of staff running around. Considering the price level for tasting menu, you would expect more. Nice unique location, but missed opportunity

We had a really delicious meal here on Saturday. The food, service and location were impeccable. We chose the Taster Menu and it was fabulous.

We were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us out a special dessert and a handwritten and signed card - which was a lovely touch.

Alessandro the Maitre d' was superb. He was dealing with a rather difficult customer throughout the night and he handled it brilliantly.

Would love to come back again soon.

I had a lovely lunch with my daughter, who isn't keen on spicy food. Great recommendation from staff on both food and wine. Proper Indian food in a great restaurant. Fantastic service- something that went wrong corrected straight away. And I thought it was good value for the quality. I'll go again.

Very good overall. The food was outstanding, and the service was terrific.

Two comments to consider: I was directed to the downstairs bar, which was under- staffed; while I was waiting I observed two gentlemen who were ahead of me leave because there was no server available. As well, the wine pours seems very light, especially for the amount charged per glass.

I had not been back to Cinnamon Club in awhile and was looking forward to bringing an out of town guest. He's vegetarian and they are well catered for on the a a la carte menu, as well as two special menus that they were featuring during our visit. The food has maintained its high standards and was faultless. The service was also pleasant in terms of personal interaction, but there were two severe kitchen delays between courses so there is something wrong. While the first delay was apologised for, it seemed to be a usual experience for the server and the second delay received no apology and we left before dessert as we could not bear waiting for it. Overall one did get a sense they are now catering for a tourist crowd and asked us to write a trip advisor review, clearly not realising the dinner had not gone that well. A real shame given the food and atmosphere is special.

The Cinnamon Club unfortunately failed to impress us.
While the ambiance was nice, service was chaotic and scatered.
Dietary requirements given to the restaurant well ahead of our dinner were complietly ignored which limited the menue choices for some people in our party.
While both starters and main courses were ok, dessert menu was positively French and lacked authenticity.
Dinner was not a good value for money and I would not be going back.

We had a great time in the Cinnamon Club for a celebration dinner for 4 people. We had the opentable early dinner menu which was £35 for a pre-starter dish, 3 courses and a seasonal bellini. This was excellent value, particularly given the high quality food. The a la carte menu was out of our price range. The setting was impressive, in an former library, but not overwhelming as we were sat in a very comfortable and well-lit booth to one side. The food was delicious, particularly the kulfi with honeycomb and pistachios and the chicken starter. The only downside was that unfortunately the menu did not have a spice rating; one of our table would have preferred a mild dish but went for the venison kofta curry which was too hot for his tastes and he would not have known this prior to ordering. Service was quick and attentive. I would definitely eat at The Cinnamon Club again!

4th time dining here and wow, what a disappointment. Reservation for 8:30pm. Arrived 8:30pm and told table was not ready and they needed 10-15 minutes. They sent us to the bar for a drink while we waited. We sat in between 2 other couples who had waited over 30 minutes for their respective reservations. After checking twice, we were finally seated after a 35-minute wait...and that was as 2 individuals walked in while I was checking and were seated immediately. Service was painfully slow and uninterested. We stayed because we were hungry and the food was excellent, as always. That being said, we purposely did not order wine so as to avoid running up the bill during a particularly unremarkable dinner. No apology was ever issued and no explanation ever provided...and there seemed to be no Manager anywhere to be found, just 2 inept hostesses who seemed overwhelmed by everything. A simple explanation that you were understaffed that evening would have sufficed. I am left to wonder whether I should bother again with all of the other choices in London.

A lovely experience and I will be back. We were late being seated in spite of a reservation so, that made our evening later than planned and we waited sometime for a server to take even a drinks order. It seemed very busy but, once we ordered, service improved and food was outstanding.

Good food and lovely setting in the old Westminster library. Unfortunately we didn’t find the reception staff as attentive as the rest. They may have been very busy, they seemed hassled and I felt that I was a nuisance when I asked for my hat which didn't come with our coats. Overall we had an excellent evening.

Incredible setting but, at breakfast at least, incredibly slow and inattentive service. We needed to wave over waiters at each stage of our meal and food came out have dried out on a hot plate 45 minutes after we ordered. Arriving at 8am should be early enough to have breakfast and leave before 9 but, invariably (this isn't the first time), we won't be able to leave until 9:30. Getting coffee, ordering, being served, and getting the bill are all incredibly difficult. This could be an incredible venue for breakfast, and the food can be excellent, but it is singularly let down by abysmal service.

I had booked on open table for 7.30 am breakfast but the door was locked and we waited on the street for 7 minutes for the restaurant door to open. The waiter did not apologise and was rude. The food was mixed (some of our party said it was cold) and the restaurant is lovely. Our order was not taken until 7.55 am.

Fine dining with a subtle and sophisticated use of spice. Highly recommend in particular the chicken and white fish dishes which are always outstanding here. Modest pricing - by current London standards - of both a la carte menu and wine list, and no service charge added (or accepted!). Our first visit in a while, having been many times over the years since they opened, but found everything - ambience, service, food - just as good as before.

Having eaten here twice before I booked for 20 surgeons to have dinner on 10th March, and was very disappointed.
The lobster starter I ordered was dry and over cooked as was the venison main course, non of my party where impressed with the food especially for the inflated price.
Perhaps you are now resting on past accolades when this was a fine dining experience?
I doubt I will book this venue again

Service was excellent, starters were great, particularly the very tender chicken and the marsh lamb dish was totally amazing. Portions could be a bit bigger, and desserts were just ok, but that's not unexpected in an Indian restaurant. Overall very good food and on the lazy Sunday menu, not bad value.

We had the sharing main - the food was delicious and very flavorful but the service was appalling! For such a high end restaurant it should be seamless but we were clearly forgotten. My partner had to find a member of staff not only to say they had forgotten about our side dish but also for more drinks and even the bill!
What should have been a superb experience for our anniversary actually ruined our day to be frank. We will not be returning or even recommending the Cinnamon Club to anyone.

Food was too
Notch and full of flavor. Service on the other hand was down right horrible. Pacing of the meal was very slow. When foods arrived they were thrown down in front of us with rushed explanation. At one point two separate people removed
My unfinished cocktail from in front of me. We were told to head down to the bar for coffee and petit fours where We waited over 20
Minutes before finally having to come back up stairs and ask for our bill. Once we received our bill it had an extra bottle of wine on it.

When requesting our jackets and bags the incorrect items were presented to us. It’s such a shame a one star Michelin restaurant can miss the mark so badly. Front of the house was a mess. And it’s too bad as the food is brilliant!
