The food and staff are all exceptional here. We had a fairly large booking (7 people) and we went for the tasting menu which consisted of some amazing dishes over the past 20 years. The flavours of every dish was like a party in the mouth it truly was exceptional food.
Fantastic food and really good service! We were at Cinnamon club celebrating my parents' anniversary and I would definitely say it was a great dining experience!
We booked for a special occasion and were not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The waitress informed me of specific vegan options that weren't on the published menu. The food was unbelievably good!! We would love to go back again.
My family and I went there to celebration my mum’s birthday. It’s was absolutely brilliant, the foods and service was outstanding. We’ll definitely come again.
The atmosphere and the food were really great but the service was incredibly slow and not paying that much attention to us. However, we had a very nice dinner.
Other than the poor greeting at reception the service and food were great. The venison is particularly fine and tender
Tables too close together at the moment
Lamb had not been cooked for long enough as there was still fascia which had not broken down.
However the staff listened to the comments.
Great evening . We had lobster the
Thermidor to start it was delicious but over priced at £29 per person. We also had the aubergine steak which was delicately flavoured and had lovely nut topping. The cocktails were spot on We tried the Wet Martini and you had a choice of vodka or gin based. The expresso Martini to finish was also top class.
For mains we choice the chef special butter chicken for 2 which came with black lentil Dahl, pilau rice and tandoori nan. The butter chicken was plentiful in an authentic butter sauce and the chicken had infused with the flavours of the sauce. The portion of rice for 2 people was very small and we had to ask for another portion, it was no trouble and came with a smile.
The waiters were very attentive and helpful. The Cinnamon club is situated in the Old Westminster library and gives the ambience an old school colonial vibe. All in all a lovely evening, the food was delicious , there was not one dish that we could find fault in terms of taste. A little overpriced but to leave satisfied sometimes you have to push the boat out. I would definitely go back
This restaurant in terms of ambiance is beautiful. Food is high quality limited menu. Service is horrible. We sat and waited for what seems hours to even get our order taken and then we waited for food to arrive. No one even had the courtesy to check on us while we ate. No one filled our drinks, asked for refills or even acknowledge us while we ate. For a high end restaurant I expected so much more
Food was fantastic but pricey. It was quite library like (quiet) in terms of ambience.
The waiter was quite confused about options and service was mixed.
An adventure of flavour sensations! We loved it. Had the taster menu. Highly recommend.
The food was not hot just Luke warm , the service was not attentive , did not feel personal when it came to the meal , was not the same as I experienced when it first opened !! Lost its charm . Thank you for the cake for my friend birthday . But won’t be recommending the cinnamon club
Wonderful birthday meal, we had the al a carte menu, the venison main being particularly lovely, a little noisy and some acoustic deadening might be a good idea. Lovely place and t would highly recommend
We experienced abysmal service throughout our meal. It might have been funny if we weren’t paying mitchelin star restaurant prices (£90 for tasting menu that does not include any rice / naan, water etc). The food is ok at times, pretty poor at others - especially the attempts at innovation. You can get a much better Indian meal from dishoom for a third of the price. If you want fine Indian dining this is not the place anymore in my opinion. Try somewhere else like Trishna that is at a similar price point but another world in quality.
The food is good and the price is right, but the wine is expensive.
Wonderful flavours . Not spicy, so if you like spicy they bring extra chillis to sprinkle on,
Wines all seemed to be a little expensive ,
Staff outstanding .
Also refreshing that the restaurant doesn’t automatically take 12.5% gratuity . So we tipped more as it was so worth it .
2nd visit for another birthday celebration - amazing food and service - even a special dessert and card for the birthday boy
Fantastic tasting menu and wine pairing.
Wonderfully delicious, well presented food
Good selection of drinks to compliment food
Waiter friendly and obliging but over worked
Tables too close together
Very noisy and difficult to hear partner's conversation
Ladies toilet needed attention
Delicious food and great service. A wonderful lunch all round.
The food was amazing our top compliments to the kitchen, unfortunately we had a bit of a wait and felt like we had been forgotten about. Apologies were quick though and didn't ruin what was a fantastic evening. We got engaged and were given a congratulatory glad of champagne and a dessert free of charge
Extraordinary place to be. Great service and great staff.
Food was fine, sometimes exceptional. Wine list lacked imagination and was too expensive. I except to pay double the shop price but not quadruple. Also I don’t think the choice was especially adapted Indian cuisine
First time to the Cinnamon Club, and it will not be my last. The food was superb. The Lunch set menu was very good value for the quality of the food. Great place whether it be business meeting or something more social.
We had the tasting menu and I wouldnt recommend it if you are looking for a classic indian dinner (especially if you look for curry). The meat was great, we had pigeon, lamb and venison although I found it "too much" for a dinner. I would have appreciated having at least one veg plate. Salmon was good, didnt really see the point of king prawns. The restaurant was very busy and althoguh most of the waiters were nice, the service was not the best (our sorbet arrived melted and there was random buffer time between courses). For a 150£ per person meal I would have expected more.
Good food but awful service and attitude of staff. On discussion they mentioned they couldn't get the staff. If this is the case they should not accept so many bookings. I will not be going back in a hurry
The food was delicious. The service was beyond indifferent. We ended up having to take our bill to the service counter to pay—as if we were at a cafeteria. So disappointing.
We came here for my partners 40th birthday, a group of 8 of us. The food was absolutely delicious and did not disappoint. Where we were let down a bit was the room that we were seated in, it had no real ambiance, was quite a cold (atmosphere) room, and it felt like we were sharing our waitress with 3 other tables of big groups and at times had to ask multiple times to place a drinks order, sometimes having to ask a second time for the same order. I feel we didn’t get the full experience of the Cinnamon club because we were not in the main dining room. However we were all extremely happy with our food and so I would return for the food.
I have to also thank the restaurant for being so accommodating with our change in numbers multiple times in the last 2 weeks due to Covid, this took a big stress off!
Cinnamon Club is just lovely for a special treat or celebration event. Portions are generous.
Wonderful meal capped off by great wine. A must do restaurant for anyone visiting London who love and appreciate great cooking.
Fantastic! Hadn’t been there for years. Delicious food in relaxed, clubby atmosphere.
Amazing flavours, beautifully presented. Good portion sizes. Set afternoon menu great. Vegetarian option delicious, Would highly recommend. A birthday treat, well worth it.
Enjoyed the set lunch, which had a nice selection of dishes to choose from, and we weren't disappointed with our choices. Fairly priced for the quality.
Delicious food in a great surrounding. The staff was fantastic! More vegan options would be great. We will come back.
good food , good service. Noise level got louder as it filled up. Ambience superb
Have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. Took friends for lunch yesterday and they loved it. We shall return.
Very clean restaurant. Toilet needed some cleaning. Staff were courteous but a little slow. There appeared to be plenty of staff. Set menu was good value for money. Food was nice and tasty.
Was fun and food was good (potoatoes with octopus very undercooked, and dried out under heat lamp). Looks a little tired in there considering the prices charged. After politely asking to move table staff dragged their feet and got fairly upset with such a request made to feel like a burden
The service took a very long time but the food was incredible.
Another excellent meal, highly recommended. Just something a little different in a great setting.
Service was really good
