Set Dishes for a good Lunch for two people
As always the food was beautiful and I will keep in coming for as long as that is the case, but tonight we waited ages to place our order and sat without drinks for at least 15 minutes. It was more than an hours free we arrived before any food arrived. The restaurant was not full so I don’t know where the issue was, but it was a little embarrassing because we’d taken a friend who hadn’t been before and we’d been raving about how great this place is. Hopefully a one-off and not arrogance starting to set in...

Wow! Where to start with this place. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, reasonable prices, amazing service. We were almost an hour late being seated due to how busy it was and we didn't care one bit, we hardly noticed. This place is World Class at what thy do, can not wait to go back and try some more of the menu.
The four of us had a really good time. Food (lots of it) was amazing and all the staff were friendly, informative and efficient.
This was our first visit but definitely not our last.

I went to the Coconut Tree for lunch for a birthday treat with friends. The food was absolutely amazing! It is all so authentic, the flavours just explode in your mouth. It is all well presented and is serviced in good time - it does come out in dribs and draps, but that is part of the 'street food' style experience. They have some great cocktails to accompany as well. I've been twice over the last few months and will look forward to going again.
A hidden gem!! The staff were friendly and accommodating, service was quick even though it was very busy as it was a Friday night. Wonderful atmosphere and not too pricey for a little treat. Very happy will certainly be returning
1st visit in a while but still as good as previous visits if not better. Wont leave it so long for the next visit.

This is a great find in Cheltenham, it is popular so always book. The food is tasty with some real surprises including vegan, the jackfruit balls were especially nice. Some tables are bar stools so make sure to book according to your need. The lighting is dim we had to use the phone torch to read the menu! I found some of the curry dishes had the same flavour gravy. The food could have been warmer on a cold night and I made the suggestion they consider heating the serving dishes and plates. For average eaters 2 dishes and rice is sufficient. Didn't try the desserts this time as full.
The waiter did go out of his way at no extra cost to change my cocktail as I did not like the first one. I have been before and will certainly go again.
Wonderful food, freshly made and served very quickly. Staff friendly and helpful and contributed to the wonderful vibe of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening.
This s the second time I have been to The Coconut Tree in Cheltenham and it was just as good, if not better than the first time. It was very noisy the first time & difficult to hear ourselves speak. It was much better this time.
My friend is Vegan and I decided to eat vegan too......and the food was absolutely delicious ! We were seated and served within minutes of arriving......Helped with the menu choices and looked after attentive throughout our stay.
If you like interesting, tasty well cooked fabulous food, in a vibrant friendly atmosphere..then get yourself booked in !

If you want comfort whilst eating, then this is not the place for you! Wooden stools, not great. But if you want great food and even greater value, then you should definitely try it. Top tip, the Can’t decide option is enough food for 2 people to share. We were a group of 8 and had so much food left over!

Another great night here ... food is lovely and super fresh. Goat curry has to be a favourite. Also had some great cocktails.
