Japanese
Passionate about Japan, Ross wanted a home for his version of Japanese food and contemporary culture, created specifically for London. He opened the first Bone Daddies Ramen Bar in Peter Street, Soho, in 2012, followed by the original Flesh & Buns in 2013. We’ve grown a bit since, but we remain small at heart and our menus continue to reflect food trends current in Japan today. All our restaurants combine original Japanese dishes with Ross’ unique twist resulting in considered, yet incredible tasting food and drink, served to a soundtrack of old school rock. Our mission to deliver memorable, standout Japanese-inspired food drives everything we do; from ramen to izakaya or yoshoku, signature cocktails or unique desserts, each offers something slightly different, with the guarantee of creative food full of flavour.

I didn't actually end up sitting at the counter which might have been due to some confusion about if I had booked for just myself or two people and that caused a little further confusion as staff was waiting to take my order until my date would arrive :D The food was great and (perhaps apart from that one slightly accusatory questioning about how many people I booked for, I booked for one I assure you) the service fantastic.

Overall we had a great time and loved the unusual fusion of Japanese and Peruvian. Service was excellent except for a little delay at the end bringing the bill. My girlfriend found the pork a little fatty, but otherwise the food was great. If you go, you’ve got to “push for pisco”! That was great fun!

Perhaps my favourite restaurant in London. Every single dish is delicious and perfect, great vibe, service almost too good!

I had great hopes but they were disappointed. The sashimi is incredibly badly cut, the rolls have flavour and texture combinations that do not work, service is intrusive. I did not have a nice time.

Very nice location and very helpful staff. On the face of it the dishes sound delicious but the execution and some of the flavour combinations are lacking especially at this price point. Many other Asian fusion restaurants in the area compare more favourably in terms of quality and price. Not bad overall but could certainly be improved!

Very good food with excellent choices. Service was a bit slow when we ordered an additional dish, but it was very busy and it was no real problem
