Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely go there again.
the food was cold, full of garlic and had clearly been reheated. there was a hair in my food as well. hardly saw any colleagues and was just overall not a very good experience which was a let down as my friends and i were very excited
The food was incredibly poor quality, not worth £12. Ordered roast dinner only had 2 potatoes, used beetroot instead of red cabbage, small Yorkshire puddings not what was advertised. The meat was fatty and not very nice. Service member even admitted they were running low on food.
We visited the crafty cow for Sunday lunch when you could only eat outside. On the positives, it was very easy to book and we had a half decent roast in a large pub garden, which has been set up well for all weathers. However it didn’t score as well as it might have for a few reasons mainly organisational. The checking in and taking prebooked groups to their tables was all left to a single member of staff, leading to what seemed an unnecessary queue. We ordered on the app - drinks came after our food and the kids ice creams not long after we’d started our food. The pork lamb and chicken were all well cooked (slow cooked), tasty and decent portions, however the plate was very light on veggies and the tops of most of the potatoes were burnt. Prices were on the higher side so expecting a better experience. As someone with a young family it also would have been nice if someone had cleaned the high chairs and offered to bring one to the table (it was a written request on my booking) and hidden from view the boxes of toys that understandably weren’t available to play with. Despite these points it was still a good meal served by friendly staff.
Sat outside of course because of the current restrictions! But the area service drinks and atmosphere was fantastic.. we will be back thanks
Asked for mayonnaise salt and vinegar the waiter had no intention of getting it, as he went back in and started servingpeople instead, asked another what dirty fries was, she never came to tell me, other than that it was very good.
Good quality food, nice big tented beer garden and a good range of drinks
Outstanding customer service, the staff really go above and beyond, to ensure you have a good time. Food was very delicious, and very filling.
Lovely staff and incredibly effective service but a very limited menu and nothing really for gluten free/wheat free people espes which is veggie at the same time. Needed more variety on the menu, especially in the way of salads and rice dishes. Thanks
Great feels however had some issues with the wrong food being delievered when vegetarian had been ordered
We had a great lunch, nice food and good service. Appreciated the awnings and patio heaters as the weather was potentially dodgy . Definitely would visit again!
A little disappointed that there was no children’s area as stated on the website
Would be nice to have more options on the menu, as some food was sold out when we arrived. But great to see the vegan options. Great for a relaxed drink and food with friends, but slightly cold up nearer the top fence so didn't stay long.
Not happy with service, took long time to have food and drinks, garden was empty but we got put at a table at the back end. Not happy overall.
Staff are so friendly and helpful! Social distancing practised by everyone but still a great atmosphere
I had to put something for food but we only had drinks so it was not applicable.. We had a really enjoyable evening, it was just a shame on the great British weather lol but it didn't spoil your great service and welcome.. Thank you
Food was not nice. Chips under cooked staff really rude food cold service slow won’t go there again. Not much on menu to
We had a lovely afternoon despite the wind and rain! Food was lovely!
Lovely atmosphere and very Covid safe! Lovely food and drinks :)
Lovely pub, good food and lots of cover outside, hit and miss how close you are to a heater though.
We had a good table right next to a heater. Service outstanding lovely food especially the beef dirty fries. Will definitely be booking again.
Staff were so helpful and accommodating and managed to move us so that we could extend our booking. Had a great afternoon/evening.
Booked table fine but wasn’t told not under cover so expected us to sit in rain on wet seats so just walked out. first impressions on staff was rude no concern for us it seemed like sit in rain or lump it uttered was no trying to put us out of rain til it stopped no customer care we’ve all been through a hard time in the last year sooty it seemed all about money
Really good set up outside with friendly staff, good choice and value for money.
Was a great night in a lovely pub, shame about the weather but the staff were brilliant and moved us to a warmer seat when possible.
Lovely Pub, outside sitting nice, had heaters and shelter. Great service. Food and drinks were great.
Had to chase them for a missing for order but everything else was great
Very disappointing that ALL of the summer drinks including Pimms were SOLD OUT they didn’t even have Soda (machine was broken) to have a wine spritzer there were a lot of sold out things on the menu which wasn’t ideal also the only food they served was a roast the veg seemed deep fried..
the garden was nice though and service was alright.
Sat for an hour and no body came to take our food order.
Didn't want to get up from the table to grab someone as due to the current restrictions we shouldn't really do that, so left after one drink.
Was a shame because I really like the crafty cow, but didn't have a great experience this time.
Might be a lot better if we could also order food on your phone, like you can drinks.
Wouldn't recommend at this moment I time, maybe when things return to normal
Just really enjoyed whole experience. Staff amazing to. Service very quick
Lovely food. Quick service. Friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely having the live music. Was really nice atmosphere. Cold so more heaters would be good.
We were greeted by a front of house guy who was very welcoming .. our table was booked for 15 45 and we arrived at 15. 38 abc he told us we were early and walked off and left us hanging for several minutes! We were prompt as food is only served til 4pm. The rest of the staff were charming and efficient .
The Crafty Cow staff did their absolute best to serve us in this weird after lockdown life. We didn't have a time limit for our table and the service was brilliant.
Long wait for food and it was nice but not amazing. There was only a very small menu which should have allowed for faster service 50 mins for ordering is ok if your told about the wait but because it’s on the app you have no idea how long you’re gonna be waiting. I think it’s a little to many people in there to handle fast with the staff being totally rushed off their feet. It was a lovely garden and the trip wasn’t bad just could have been better with a little communication when you arrive so you know what to expect in terms of food times
The booking system for the food didn’t always work. A limited menu, not much choice and was freezing under shelter. The garden does look great. Food was lush and staff were really friendly and helpful.
Really slow service had to ask for the drinks after ordering every time, considering the slots are two hours you’d think it would be relatively quick
A lovely afternoon out. Just waited a while for our drinks but otherwise all fine!
Nice food, friendly staff. Unfortunately it was very windy so we were sat outside quite cold. Asked to move to a table in the marquee but was told we couldn’t - at least 5 tables in the marquee were still empty when we left so we could’ve moved.
Great for vegan options! Really helpful staff. Would recommend
