Prepare to enter a London nightspot unlike any other: the iconic King’s Cross venue, The Cross (yes, the same The Cross which hosted hedonistic all-night raves under its railway arches in the ’90s) is back! It has been reimagined as a six-storey haven of entertainment, complete with Mediterranean, bar, club, cocktail lounge and roof terrace boasting a 360-degree vista across London’s skyline. Then when Friday and Saturday come around, we open our doors to Drink, Dine and Dance.



 The Cross at King’s Cross is perfectly located for both pre-drinks and after-party celebrations, from its chic ground-floor bar and restaurant to the urbane first-floor restaurant/cocktail lounge – the ideal spot to unwind with cocktails and friends before the night unfolds.

    This was an evening for my husband’s birthday and I had planned it very carefully and communicated with the venue via email to establish all the details - we were to have dinner, then cocktails in the bar and then go downstairs to the club. Unfortunately after dinner we tried to go and have cocktails but were told the bar was shut. We then enquired about the club but were told that as it wasn’t busy enough the club was closed. This completely put a curveball on our evening. At no point during my planning was I told that the bar and club were subject to availability- if I had been aware of this I would have chosen elsewhere for our night. We did spend quite some time in black cabs looking for another venue at short notice but to no luck. Thankfully my husband was understanding and said he’d had a great birthday but this was really disappointing. Having said this, the dinner and overall experience of the restaurant was great and the staff were very helpful during this.

    We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food - it wasn't super complex, but very solidly executed, tasty Mediterranean sharing plates which were perfect to accompany great drinks and some dancing.

    If you are looking for great quality food, drink, service and style this is the place for you. Amazing choice of bars as well as a fabulous restaurant and even a basement club! Honestly, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!
