Housed in the restored 19th century Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft Leeds is a beautiful restaurant with historic features and a show-stopping central cocktail bar.

Open every day serving lunch and dinner, with brunch and roasts on the weekend, you can expect elegant interiors in a building rich with character and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

Named 'Restaurant of the Year' at the Yorkshire National Business Hero Awards in 2023 and 2024, The Cut & Craft combines contemporary steak and seafood dishes with a premium list of locally-crafted drinks.

We have an extensive food menu all made freshly on site including our signature flat iron steak, prepared by our very own in-house butcher.

After searching a few places for my daughter’s 18th, the reviews looked great and Cut & Craft did not disappoint! The food choices and servings were fantastic, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful and I just loved the decor and ambience of the place. It was fabulous. A really lovely night out and we would definitely go again! If you haven’t been, I’d definitely recommend.

The welcome is as warm as ever, the staff are very happy to see you if you’ve been in before. Service is great for dining and drinks, and the selection is fantastic. The portion sizes on the classic fish and chips were amazing. My only constructive feedback is that the Coke was, from recollection, £4 and was a very short tumbler filled with ice and was draft, so poor value and quantity on that. Otherwise, recommended and a lovely place.

The food was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. Shame that where we were sitting it was quite drafty so rather chilly evening. We would go there again though but if for a special occasion will phone in advance.

So where do I start, I had heard mixed reviews about this place so wanted to try it myself. The venue looks great and is good on the eye. The staff friendly enough and the atmosphere was good. However the food, so I ordered the king prawns to start and after eating 2 I realised the 3rd was still raw. I was unsure so sent this back for the chef to confirm it was under cooked. Me and my partner both ordered the ribeye medium rare. They both came out and my partners was perfectly cooked, but when I cut into mine just as the waitress was walking over to ask how our food was noticed it was over cooked and said “they’ve over cooked it haven’t they” it was more medium well. She took this and got me a new one. The side were all really nice. To top it off my girlfriend had order a gin and SLIMLINE tonic because she it diabetic. Half way through the meal she checked her glucose/sugar levels and they were spiking. I ask the manager to check we had been given slimline and not full sugar. It turns out that they had given her full sugar which is why her sugars were going up like a rocket. Over the food when it was cooked properly was tasty however overall the experience was a shambles. I had a poorly stomach the day after Becuase of the prawns and she nearly had a hypo in the restaurant if she hadn’t noticed and got her sugars back under control. Poor play from these guys. The manager took care of the meal but it was to much a disaster to save the day and stop this review.

Booked for Sunday lunch time , the restaurant wasn’t overly busy nice atmosphere great interior. Two of us had the sharing Sunday lunch the food was really nice however two adult men sharing the Sunday lunch probably not enough. We also had a fish dish which was really nice and a chicken burger with fries however the food never seems to come out really hot just warm maybe sat waiting to be served. 2 o’clock on a Sunday afternoon the restaurant have run out ofTomahawk steaks and peroni. I felt a little bit expensive For Sunday lunch.
