   The total refurb of that building by Bruntwood is to be applauded but if I’m honest, I expected more from the operator of the restaurant. The menu felt a bit standard, the steak was good, the tuna tartare not so much. The beef tartare was a much better option. The wait staff whilst helpful were very young and a bit timid. Some of our sides didn’t make it to the table with the rest of the food which is never good. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Would I rush back? I’m not sure I would.

   Very overpriced and not great value for money. Choose the SeaBass and one small fillet with dried up fish. The potatoes accompanied a teaspoon full. Veg so small couldn’t find. Complained and offered desserts FOC , but not what I expected. Also Irish Coffee served in a cup & saucer. No particular inspiring.

   Such a lovely building and the food was great(although the roast was a bit cold), it’s really such a shame that they haven’t invested in experienced service staff. They were nice enough but really missed the details like coming straight over with menu, remembering who ordered what, not checking if you need drinks, we had to ask if they could take our order as we had been waiting ages etc…….at the end when she was stood over us immediately with the card machine to pay when we clearly hadn’t read the bill yet, and were still chatting/drinking. It was a bit rude. For the price, the location and the calibre of restaurant you would really expect top notch service but unfortunately that was lacking. Seemed like it was a lot of young girls with no experience, they need some proper training.

   Well what can I say but as it’s a Sunday afternoon booked for my husbands birthday with 6 guest , restaurant not busy or full and food Sunday lunch was amazing but services was not great and not very friendly especially when at bar we arrived 25 minutes before and we was having drinks at bar and one of our guest son came in said needed move aside as block of entrance path to bathrooms , which is not a problem but all the high seat empty at table drink we should have been offered them , they felt uncomfortable and left without having a drink but all staff did keep staring. Once got dessert we had no cutlery had to ask for it . We was given bill which we did not ask for it said needed table next guest. There were a lot tables empty in restaurant which was crazy. I have worked in hospitality for 20 years can I just say the food amazing , you should have 100% said do you mind going to bar or high table to finish drinks as other guest need table which on opening week was what you offered us and on Saturday evening as very busy and amazing service , which is why we bought our friends in but Sunday the service of the ladies and rushing us off within 2.5hrs which I know is not right as restaurant had at least 10 tables empty.

   Great venue and wonderful food!! Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was really friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

   The food was excellent!! The service was absolutely shocking, waiting around 25 minutes before being even asked if we were ‘ok for drink’. Then instead of taking order the member of staff walked off and asked someone else to sort it. When this didn’t materialize I had to go and ask the very helpful front of house staff member we had been waiting for a long time. Lots of staff walking around doing very little and generally just ignoring us which again happened when we were trying to pay the bill. Great food!! Shocking service!!

   I celebrated my birthday on the 17th of May at 20:00, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table, which was frustrating, especially as a large group that couldn’t comfortably fit at the bar in the meantime. Once we were finally seated, we then waited nearly an hour for our food – which was honestly ridiculous as we PRE-ORDER. plus as the birthday girl, received my food even later than the rest of the group, meaning I waited around an hour and 15 minutes in total. To be fair, all the staff were lovely and genuinely tried to help, and I appreciated their efforts. The food itself tasted great, and the overall atmosphere was also nice. However, the long wait times really took away from the experience, and sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
