The Deck family wanted to create a food experience based on our two favourite things, food and travel, in order to create the type of restaurant that we would want to visit again and again.

The Deck Bar and Grill, Restaurant offers an exciting concept infusing Great British Classics with the vibe and flavours of continental dining. You can enjoy the freshest of local ingredients in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, suitable for all.

We have combined the best tastes and flavours from all of our travelling adventures from: Street Traders in Asia, to Seafood from Europe added to the chargrilled flare from Down Under. We pride ourselves on offering the experience of a laid back lifestyle and atmosphere that comes from enjoying good food among Family & Friends at The Deck in Bude Cornwall….flipflop dining…It’s simple!

Returning to the Deck for our third year. This never disappoints. I had the special crab and langoustines pasta, my partner had the half rack of ribs. All the food was exceptional as was the Service. Huge portions, incredible quality, good value prices, great selection of Sharps beers/ales and cider. Will be returning if we visit Bude again.

We have been to The Deck many times before but it was the first time for some of the family. The full rack of ribs were a huge hit with my grandsons!! Always such a friendly atmosphere, staff are helpful but most importantly the food is outstanding.

Really great food with friendly and efficient service. We aren’t locals, but have been holidaying in Bude for several years now and The Deck is a must-visit place for us.

The Deck, as always did not disappoint. Staff are friendly, polite, helpful and look like they enjoy their job. 5 of us ate and every meal was fantastic. Half a rack of ribs for me was a perfect amount, I definitely would not have managed a full rack! Various other meals our party had were equally delicious and well presented. The staff are so helpful and friendly which makes the evening more special and enjoyable! Thank you to everyone who works at The Deck especially the handsome, polite young man who served us and was working during the summer season.

Second time we’ve eaten at the deck, service and atmosphere were great, food was fine, but I felt it was expensive for what it was and I was disappointed with the prices against what is served up I had the surf and turf skewer which was a steak and prawn kebab, just steak and prawns with a bowl of fries, no roasted peppers or onions, no salad or greens you had to pay extra for these (which would make for a very pricey meal). Nothing wrong with what was served up, but won’t be going back for a third time, too pricey to get a balanced dish for me.
