The Deck family wanted to create a food experience based on our two favourite things, food and travel, in order to create the type of restaurant that we would want to visit again and again.

The Deck Bar and Grill, Restaurant offers an exciting concept infusing Great British Classics with the vibe and flavours of continental dining. You can enjoy the freshest of local ingredients in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, suitable for all.

We have combined the best tastes and flavours from all of our travelling adventures from: Street Traders in Asia, to Seafood from Europe added to the chargrilled flare from Down Under. Friendly staff, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. A reasonable choice of food. Decent size portions. Sweet was a little over the top and very sweet but I'm sure will suit real pudding lovers.

Great food, great location. We have been here several times before and always good food and service. Signature hanging skewers are amazing and there are daily specials that are always seasonal and change regularly. Highly recommended

I enjoyed the fish and chips, Jane had the burger, also very good, service was attentive but not overpowering. Waiting time for food or drinks was minimal. Overall a very pleasant evening.

Food was lovely. Felt pressurised to eat quickly and leave. We were asked if we were ready to order within 3 minutes of being sat down and interrupted about 5/6 times while we were eating. Too many people were dealing with out table. We felt rushed to pay as they were closing at 9.30pm on a Friday! Really off putting.

We were staying at the Edgecumbe Hotel and decided to have dinner in the Deck restaurant on the Friday. We both had the chicken burger, which was really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations and service in general.

Macaroni cheese was worth it. Steak and seafood and green beans were excellent. Fries standard. Desserts delicious! Very friendly. We got in on an early same day evening booking where everything else was booked up.

We had a enjoyable meal at the Deck - friendly service and good food. Nice atmosphere and good surroundings. One slight criticism - the service was a bit too quick and they did not give us time to drink our pre dinner drinks, dessert came very quickly and at times it felt a bit rushed otherwise overall a good experience.
