Excellent Sunday lunch. Good quality meat & variety or vegetables, a well thought out menu & excellent value.
Apple sauce would be a great addition please!
All had the delicious carvery, beautifully cooked. Friendly, caring, professional service. Very reasonably priced. Couldn’t fault
The food was good, big portions although had to wait over an hour for food to come. Dessert was good but had to wait half an hour for pudding to come. By the time my pudding come the rest of table had finished their pudding.
The staff were friendly but it was obvious that they were shirt staffed.
The staff were super friendly but the meat was tough and I must admit I was expecting more choice.
We had booked a table using the Open table booking on line Unfortunately when we got to the Deck the staff did not have any booking information It wasn’t a problem as there were seats available and the staff were very accommodating We had a lovely seat looking over Exmouth Beach Perfect! We had ordered a Roast lunch The meal was very tasty and I especially liked the delicious gravy The Yorkshire pudding was over cooked It looked like it had been standing around for a while !!, Overall it was a good experience
I found it to be quite ordinary, nothing special. The menu was far superior downstairs at the other eatery.
I was also greeted with we haven’t got a booking.. when I clearly had from the email on phone. Wouldn’t go again.
The views from the Deck are exceptional and we were given an excellent table. The food was simple but well prepared and reasonably priced. We will go again but watch out for the closing time which is earlier than the Engine House on the ground floor.
Overall a pleasant experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean restaurant, lovely sea views. Food was great, although a bit of a wait. Would definitely come again.
The staff put themselves out to make us feel at ease .Nothing was too much trouble.Lovely evening. Many Thanks
Have been before on several occasions and will go again. Such a pleasant place to eat, enjoy the view and be attended by very welcoming pleasant staff.
Wasn't impressed with any aspect of the deck. Our reservation through any table hadn't been put in the book so they said they had no record of it. Luckily the place was dead so no problem getting a table. Food wasnt great, burnt bread on my club sandwich. Won't be rushing back
We waited a long time before anyone would be interested. After half an hour we went to the bar to place an order. Even though it was a Sunday, (lunch time) Mother's Day and we had a reserved table, a portion of tomato soup turned out to be only one !!! Waitress did not serve us a cutlery or napkins !!! And in addition, we first received main courses and then the starters !!! ONE BIG CHAOS!!! A beautiful place but only that...Restaurant service has to be learned for a long, long time. Detriment.
