Californian
The Draycott is a California-inspired family-friendly Brasserie, created by Matt and Marissa Hermer. Named as an homage to London’s Draycott Avenue, where the husband-and-wife restaurateur duo first met, The Draycott features wholesome and classic dishes using locally sourced ingredients.

The restaurant-café melds the ambiance of Europe with a convivial all-day environment, featuring seasonal lunch and dinner menus served with a British twist.

After moving from London – where Matt and Marissa own and operate award- winning bars and restaurants – to Pacific Palisades, they wanted to create a place that married all the things they love about Southern California and all the things they miss about London.

With this, Matt and Marissa (along with their children, Max, Jake, and Sadie) warmly welcome you into their new home, The Draycott.

We really enjoy the patio and the ambience. The garden outside and the clientele reminds me of prior times dining in Beverly Hills before the recent changes over there.

We absolutely love coming to the Draycott! From the minute you are in the door you are treated with kindness. The hostess, the wait staff and the general manager were all very accommodating and attentive. Everyone orders a variety of dishes and enjoyed what they had. My roasted chicken was one of the best ones I have ever tasted! We make the Draycott a regular spot.

This place is completely over rated.
Except for a nice patio, that’s about all you’ll get…
My crudo was small, dry with no flavor and my burger was plain and boring so for $24 I was expecting something a lot better.
First time!…& last time for me.

Enjoyed New Year's Eve dinner at Draycott. Had the Sea Bass for 2 & it was huge - plenty for 2 diners. Our Server was top notch - wait staff was very good, but could benefit from more experience. Super restaurant - you'll enjoy! ...

So we had the pricey Christmas dinner and had the goose and Branzino. The latter was excellent but the goose meat was tough. French onion soup had too thick a piece of bread on it so that spoilt the overall experience. Sides were fine.

We came to the Draycott for the Christmas Dinner Prefix meal and ordered the Curried Cauliflower Soup, Chicken liver mousse with
grilled bread, paddle butter, dijon mustard, and the Seared Goose breast. The soup was brought to the table cold, we had to beg the waiter to bring more bread to the table, and the Seared Goose breast was not a Goose breast at all. What was brought to the table was two over-cooked inedible goose wings, not a seared goose breast. We complained to the waiter and he said there was nothing he could do and suggested that we pickup the wings and eat them with our hands. When the $350 bill came, the waiter had PRE-SET the credit card payment to include for himself a 22% tip.

THIS IS THE WORST MEAL I HAVE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME!!!!!!

The ambiance and interior design is amazing however the food… our family did the christmas course meal and it took 2 hours and 30 minutes for us to finish receiving all the meal. I advise the restaurant to change their main chef because all the food tasted bad. We had to request changes because we couldn’t even force ourselves to eat it.

We celebrated Christmas by having lunch at The Draycott. We were worried that 4 course menu would be too much, so we didn’t finish the soup to ensure we had room for the other three courses. The only comment would be the French onion soup was more like a meal, not very much liquid, a large amount of onion with bread and cheese. Between our party, we tasted everything on the special menu and it was truly scrumptious. The goose and chops were succulent and everything cooked to perfection. The food and service were exceptional as usual and we look forward to returning.

We have never dined for Christmas Eve and the Draycott did not disappoint! The ambiance was great and the drinks were festive. The fixed menu was average. Food overall was good but nothing to special. They were out of the mouse liver but not the end of the world. We had the goose which was good but again nothing spectacular. Sides were average as well. Point being that nothing from the menu was bad at all, just average. The service however was friendly, tentative, and very accommodating. Bar was fun and we would definitely come back for asocial type setting.

This was the one restaurant I wanted to try during our 2 day layover in LA and it did not disappoint! From the English Pea Dip (and I’m not a fan of peas!) to the Eton Mess the dinner was excellent, the service was wonderful and our overall dining experience was superb!

Food was good especially the Caesar salad and mussels. My husband was a bit disappointed that his branzino did not come with a side dish. Noise level inside was quite annoying. Too cold for us outdoors. We will return when weather is warmer.

A lot of noise from the lawn area adjacent to where we sat. Lots of crying and screaming kids. We love our children, but when we go out for an evening, we leave the kids home.

K owing the lawn is loud we requested inside seating or seating away from the lawn. That request was ignored despite the existence of several empty 4 tops on the I terror patio and inside.

Our server seemed a bit aloof. He did not ask us whether we were enjoying the meal at any point until the bill came.

Check in was cumbersome
The waitress forgot part of my order and didn’t come to check
Only realised at the end of our meal
The waitress started clearing the table while other people in my party were still eating which made them uncomfortable and pressured to finish their meal as quickly as they could

Overall a nice Thanksgiving experience. Food was tasty but service definitely lacking as the pace was very slow. Had to be very proactive to get the courses served. Without speaking up, not sure when the courses would have arrived.

Also, although good, wish the pumpkin dessert was a more classic pumpkin pie. I speak for all of my party too.

Beautiful space. Our server was so nice as was the hostess and everyone else. I got the Branzino and it was terrible- not only was it dry but it also had a terrible odor( had to send it back). . And the fennel salad was not that good either.. the grilled shrimp that they replaced it with was a bit better but not amazing.. it’s such a bummer as the space is gorgeous. And service was great too.
