The bar & cafe area is the perfect place for some light food or to relax and have a drink, with gorgeous views over Sligo Bay & Oyster Island. Paudie's pitmaster background has played a big influence on The Driftwood Smokehouse Restaurant, with smoked meats and seafood playing a central part of the menu, which have been slow cooked in the smoker for up to 15 hours, to give a gorgeous flavour & tender texture.

    We had a beautiful time in the Driftwood. The food was absolutely delicious as always. The service excellent the staff always so friendly, it’s so relaxing there.

    Service was not up to standard. We order starters that came after the main. Kids food was cold and chips chunky and not properly cooked. Kept asking us if we want dessert while in the middle of still eating our food. Lunch menu is very basic mostly burgers, not a good choice of salads and everything on the expensive side.

    Fabulous service food and ambience .The waitress was lovely and very attentive polite & efficient. Will definitely return .We had a lovely evening in The driftwood.

    I love the relaxed feel of this place – like eating in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. We had the Beer Battered Cod and the Highland Burger. Service was amazing, from the welcome we received the minute we arrived, to the amazing service at our table. Everything was well-timed and the staff couldnt have been any nicer. Wines also hit the right spot.
