The bar & cafe area is the perfect place for some light food or to relax and have a drink, with gorgeous views over Sligo Bay & Oyster Island. Paudie's pitmaster background has played a big influence on The Driftwood Smokehouse Restaurant, with smoked meats and seafood playing a central part of the menu, which have been slow cooked in the smoker for up to 15 hours, to give a gorgeous flavour & tender texture.

Delicious food and cocktails. Lovely atmosphere.
Very nice lunch served by friendly waitress. Enjoyed my visit.
Excellent meal, great surroundings, very good service. Overall a most enjoyable evening. Will definitely be back!
Greeted and were seated promptly but then had a considerable wait before our drinks order was taken. Following that four different staff asked to take our food order within the space of 5-10 mins. Choice of starters limited, about 4. I had calamari that looked and tasted like deep fried popcorn. Blonde and I had the lamb shank special which was tasty but was served with any sauce. It was on a bed of a teaspoon of mash with an orange and a purple carrot. Unfulfilling meal. I could be behind the times but staff in own attire ie jeans is lacking. Blonde asked why no salt & pepper on the table, hmmmm, I do not know, was our food seasoned to our liking. Overall, nice decor and pretty good festive atmosphere.
The food was really good. Really nice atmosphere. Good service. Overall a great experience I will definitely be back when in the west.

Love the food and atmosphere! Looking forward to our next visit already
Really well-organised table well spaced out, no waiting time.
Casual and relaxed dining in nice modern setting. Having booked an overnight stay it was a very convenient meal. Good wine and fresh food.
Our 1st time experiencing Driftwood and it was fabulous. From the low lighting atmosphere to friend professional staff and sensational food. Will most certainly be back.
Visited for the first time on Saturday night. Don't know why it took me so long! Lovely restaurant, great atmosphere, excellent food. The calamari starter was fab and the Nutella gnocchi dessert was gorgeous. Have booked again for Saturday night. Hoping for a table by the window which would be the icing on the cake!
Myself and my partner dined out in the Driftwood as we were staying in Rosses Point. The food was absolutely outstanding. We have never had a meal like it. For starter my partner had the chicken wings and I had the seafood chowder. The amount of seafood in the chowder was amazing. For mains we both had the 10oz rib eye steak which literally melted in your mouth. You could nearly swallow the meat without chewing. It was absolutely delicious. We were so full that we shared a desert and we had the cookie dough served in a skillet. I cannot describe what it was like because it was so good. Then to mention the cocktails, they were amazing too. As the saying goes ‘you pay for what you get’. Thank you so much to the Driftwood staff who looked after us for the night. We certainly will be back
Great food, excellent service and best Margarita I've had. Lovely experience.
Food fab .had a table near the window looking out at the lovely view .it was my birthday and the staff made an effort by singing happy birthday and giving me a small desert . great spot I'll definitely be back
