We went for a weekday lunch so it was very quiet which spoilt the ambience. However the service was quick and the food good. Will have to return at a weekend when busier to really judge.

Lovely staff; welcoming, attractive and friendly pub. Very inclusive as I brought my elderly parents & little rescue dog & they were all made to feel special. I’ll definitely be revisiting them in the future

First visit and we were left dissatisfied. It seemed more time was spent on presentation and less on the actual cooking. In summary it was average food for above average price.

Very nice pub/restaurant, waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food overall was good but 2 of our guests had the pork dish which looked a little pink in the middle. We checked it was cooked properly & was told yes its cooked in a water bath & that is how it was served. Nothing wrong with the meal but not how we would usually eat pork. Desserts were delicious.

Excellent service and ambiance, more ‘a la carte’ than ‘pub grub’. Interesting and just ‘different ‘ menu both delicious and good value. Sets a standard that other eateries should aspire to.

We went on a Sunday and it was not the usual great experience. Possibly due to short staffed but service was slow. We had communication difficulties with our waiter. My nephew asked if there were any alternatives to mushy peas, he didn't seem to understand this! Previously we've had a lovely experience there.

Unfortunately this was the second attempt at meeting at the venue with friends - the first time they had taken our reservation despite having a private function on.
While the food was lovely the service was not great. The waitress when we arrived, while very friendly and helpful, was rushed off her feet as she seemed to be the only one serving a full restaurant. After she left her shift the restaurant was far less busy but the service did not improve despite there now being at least two waitresses. We often had to wait quite some time for drinks to arrive and had to ask a number of times to be able to pay the bill. When asked how everything was we explained that the espresso martinis were not the best we were simply told "oh well that's just he recipe we're told to use".

Limited menu on Sundays after 6pm but still a reasonable range of options. Food was very good. Service was a bit slow on arrival... took a while to get served at bar, and table wasn't ready. Didn't have desserts as waited too long. to order.

Me and family came for lunch on Sunday and we were really impressed with the quality of our food. Most of us had roast beef which was cooked to perfection and just beautiful. The staff were very attentive and really accommodating of my two nephews who are a bit fussier with food. We left feeling full and happy, thank you so much!

Although the food was very good the service was poor, we were not approached after our main meal plates were taken away to inquire whether we wanted dessert. The tables were packed close to each other and because of this I kept getting knock by the people trying to get through to other tables.

The Duck and Willow NEVER disappoint! The meal was stunning, with roast beef cooked to perfection.
As always, the staff are / were friendly and inviting (It's always good when staff recognise who you are upon your return).
The pub was busy but not over-noisey, with a nice ambience.
Having eaten Sunday lunch here before I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. The food is always very well presented and the wait is never too long.
The meal was stunning, very tasty and just the right portion size.
I'd recommend a visit on Sunday if you haven't taste their food, but be sure to book - there's a reason they fill up quickly!

Food was really good. Compliments to the chef. We had 2 courses at lunch which was great value. Only criticism was - only one server who was also running the bar so had to wait a few times but overall the food made up for that
