We booked for piano night having heard wonderful things about the music and food. My daughter has a severe nut allergy and the restaurant was very accommodating and knowledgable re allergies. We are vegetarian and although there was only one veggie option, it was delicious. The live piano music was wonderful, not too intrusive with wide ranging repertoire The restaurant ambience and decor was very welcoming. I will certainly be back. A very enjoyable evening! We are

we have been to this pub for a drink a couple of times and decided we should go for a meal. we weren't disappointed, the staff are friendly and efficient and food was delicious. I had the steak and ale pie with a lovely short crust pastry top which was excellent and my partner had a steak. We would highly recommend and will return.

Just got back from a 2 night stay and we can't recommend this little gem enough.The accommodation ,food and Landlord and Landlady were great and deserve to do well as I'm sure they will.

Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. They do not fall into the trap of quantity is equal to quality. Just enough food so we left an empty plate.

Great little pub. Very accommodating for a last minute booking. Food was excellent, and all the team could not be faulted. Absolute 10/10. Looking forward to dining here again.

This was our first visit to The Duke of Wellington and it was excellent. The service was exceptional from the welcome on arrival until we left later in the evening. The food was very good with a range of choices and prices to suit most tastes. We'll definitely be returning.

Ate there two consecutive nights, steak night was amazing then Good Friday fish night, it was more whale and chips and absolutely delicious, service was excellent and would highly recommend for a meal and a stay over .
