We really enjoyed our dinner and evening. Food and wine were great.
Great restaurant! One of our LA favorites.
Great, as always. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes pasta and seafood.
We had the pork belly. It
I've always loved this place. The waitstaff was overwhelmed (to be expected) and the wine pours were almost half of what they should be. But everyone was friendly.
The handkerchief pasta was great. The lamb ribs could have used a little more salt. The porchetta was quite good. The apple pie was pretty good. The staff was great. I think I'll order more pasta next time.
We had a great time
Consistently delicious pasta, and actually everything including great service. Plus a safe outdoor patio to dine!
Waiter looked annoying and started to act friendly close to the end of his shift , I believe. All and all the pasta was amazing knowing it’s handmade. But it kind of missed its mark with the bone marrow and steak - definitely didn’t wow us.
Factory Kitchen is AMAZING! Every item on the menu is delicious. The cremosella kale and green bean salad with the most delicious creamy mozzarella is the perfect way to start the dining experience. One of my favorite pasta dishes is the mandilli di seta, also known as the handkerchief pasta. The pasta is house made thin sheets that melt in your mouth. The pesto sauce is smooth and velvety. Overall all the flavors are mild but burst in your mouth. The prosciutto on sage dough is by far the best prosciutto I have ever had. Thin, flawless, lean slices of tender prosciutto will have you wanting seconds and thirds. To end a perfect meal, the Olivato, panna cotta, and beignets are a few of my favorites.
We ordered the veal Osso bucco- it was tender n flavorful. Also the fish was crispy skinned n flaky flesh - these and appetizers were all yummy n not too salty which happens a lot at other restaurants - will try to bring the family here!
We sat on the patio. It was small n tables are close to each other but it was fine. Probably not too good with large parties outside.
We love Factory Kitchen. The food is fantastic and the setting quiet enough to have a conversation. Sadly, last night our waiter was awful. He basically ignored us after one person in our party asked him politely to keep his mask over his nose. We had a NYE show to attend and we couldn't get the check. After we put down our credit cards, we couldn't get the bill paid. Our waiter: nowhere in sight. I had to take the payment to the manager.
We'll go back to Factory Kitchen, but if this guy is assigned to our table, we'll move.
food is better than average
ambiance is ok
nice place to try once
The food was very good however, the sides were just ok. The waiter was a little snobbish I thought not asking if we've been here before and did not recommend any dishes or ideas.
Some of the best ossobuco i've ever had. I really love this place.
Great good and drinks! Relaxed atmosphere. Good for small groups
Fantastic food, fast service and unbeatable pricing for a restaurant of this caliber! Better than Bestia!
We were seated early and greeted immediately by our servers. We planned to share the meal: the kitchen accommodated by spacing out the presentation and delivery of our five courses. The wait staff coordinated the delivery of the food with appropriate serving plates, utensils, and flatware. The food was delicious. The overall experience was delightful.
The food is excellent. Our favorites are the handkerchief pasta and the modenesi. The banana bread cake pudding is also excellent. We have been their multiple times and will be going back. Happy Holidays!
We loved the prosciutto, the tuna, and the peppers as starters. The following pasta plates were great - especially the pappardelle with rabbit.
My favourite restaurant in L.A.❤️ The food is amazing
Service and ambiance were great, portions very generous.
The food and service were excellent and the restaurant has a cozy vibe. We’ll be back!
Hadn't been here prior to the start of the pandemic, but it was just as good as I remembered it.
The noise in the street was awful, but the food was good. Very good pasta! Price is a bit high for pasta, but I guess it’s their specialty.
Out of some food items, lack of service, small portions on some items.
But still very good
We sat outdoors which was a great call. Inside became very crowded and lacked proper ventilation given the current state of affairs. Outside was perfect .
Food quality and service was great!
It's worth it to come just for the mandilli di seta ( the green pasta all over Yelp and IG). Our server recommended we order as an appetizer and we were so glad we did. I've been a couple times and always love everything I've tried.
Food and cocktails GREAT! Service rushed, servers kept changing with no introduction, rushed to order food, desserts, check was dropped without being finished, server was so obviously looking at our table for our money but never checking in on us, manager came by and said to pay the bill to get the server out very unapologetic, so ridiculous. It was a 8:15 reservation not even close to closing time. We wanted to pace ourselves and enjoy everything but your servers were more worried about leaving and we still left a very undeserved 20% tip. Not professional especially for a Michelin star being printed on the menu.
Super easy parking, great vibe, food was amazing! Will 100% recommend.
We were absolutely delighted by the experience at The Factory Kitchen. The food (and cocktails) was inventive, very well prepared, delicious, and truly a positive surprise with each bit. The service was very good - with a variety of folks making it their priority to care for our needs (specific or just in passing). The atmosphere was classic downtown LA - urban, cool, quasi-hipster - but not so much that normal people like we couldn't also enjoy. Made reservations for outside patio but the hostess was very gracious to put us inside. Overall a really good experience - will absolutely be returning.
I eat here regularly so hoping it was just an off day. There was definitely not enough staff working this added to my poor experience.
Did a holiday dinner here with some clients and was very impressed! The food was awesome and the seasonal cocktails were a nice surprise.
You don't expect how busy it is inside from how quiet it is just outside the building. Went on a day when there were multiple birthday parties and office parties taking place so the place was certainly energetic. They have fantastic drinks, cocktails are a visual steal. Had to wait a few minutes for our table to be made available but waiting at the bar was nice. Ordered one of the salads for starters (the endive gorgonzola one I think) and that's probably the only regret I have. The flavors weren't to my liking but am sure there's others that might have enjoyed it. But from there on everything we ordered was simply the best ever. Don't remember the names as on the menu but the pasta with rabbit was delicious, the riblets with spinach - we were disappointed not to have the osso buco but this was better maybe - were beautifully done just falling off the bone and not a messy affair at all to dine on (although that bread it was plated on needs to go cos that meat was brilliant all on its own), the desserts - the panna cotta and the Saracena (who says no to espresso soaked cake!!) - were sublime, and ably accompanied by a cappuccino and mint tea. Overall a stellar dinner and one of the best in recent times. Highly recommend!!
Came her for a Holiday Business Lunch - love the Ahi appetizer, the Trout and the Pasta. Service was exceptional.
What a perfect evening -- fantastic food and a staff that was incredibly accomdating and welcoming. Can't ask for more than that. We sat outside -- inside can be quite loud -- and with heaters on the patio if couldn't have feel more cozy and comfortable. But go for the food!! It's great.
One of the best pastas I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was exquisite and delicious!
This is the second time we have dined here. It was for a family Christmas dinner before we all went our separate ways for our holiday vacations. As I expected, we were seated right away and the service was impeccable. The staff honored our requests and the food was exceptional. Kudos to the chef!!
It was great
