Food was incredibly salty - bordered on inedible. Both salad and gnocchi were very salty. But presentation was nice and other flavors were ok. Wine was good. Pretty good service. I’d go for just wine next time.
Lovely experience on the patio with covid compliance. Food is delicious as always. Staff is super friendly and place is clean. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful dinner!
We went here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We like to hit the foodie “hot spots” every year. The pandemic limited our options, but we lucked out with The Factory Kitchen. We snagged a same-day reservation (never happens!) and it was one of the beat meals I’ve ever had. They did a great job with the outdoor dining situation and guidelines. There was still a nice ambiance on asphalt with a view and a good number of heat lamps (super clutch)! The prosciutto on sage fry bread and burrata was the best thing on the menu, followed closely by Osso Bucco. I will say that the dessert (chocolate flourless cake) was underwhelming, and not on par with the meal unfortunately. The service was on point. I will 100% be back!
We had missed our favorite restaurant Factory Kitchen for almost one year. We went back for the first time - outdoor seating. Was a little worried as this was our first meal at a restaurant since the beginning of the pandemic. We loved it again! Outdoor seating is comfortable, lots of room between tables, food was as delicious, cute lights and canopies allowed a surprisingly lovely ambiance. No disappointment only happily surprised! We look forward to going back soon. Happy we can support the local small businesses who are putting the extra work and extra investments so we can still enjoy our best gems. To incredible hard working restaurant owners, THANK YOU.
Patio is spacious and tables are well-spaced. Every table has a heater so evening meals shouldn’t be a problem. I went for lunch and we were the only customers, so lunch tables are plentiful. Food is exactly the same and fabulous.
Very pleasant atmosphere given the restrictions from the pandemic. Truly impressed. The food was outstanding as it has always been. It was a very satisfying lunch and reminiscent of dining al fresco in Italy. I would highly recommend Factory Kitchen. It has been a consistent bright light on the Los Angeles dining scene!
Really enjoyed the opportunity to share a delicious meal with family at a restaurant with such great food and service even though we had to sit outside in the parking lot. The outdoor seating was very comfortable, plenty of heaters, plenty of space between tables and plenty of fresh air. We enjoyed the mural surrounding the outdoor dining area. We will be back.
Love this place. Amazing food, great cocktails. Can’t go wrong with anything you order.
One of the best restaurants in Los Angeles!
I used to love the Mandilli Di Seta here and it was my first time back since the pandemic and it was not at all like what I remembered. The staff did all they could do to follow the pandemic protocols but was not happy about the food (also ordered the brown sugar pasta and the prosciutto fish) :(
We hadn't been there for a few years, and were so happy that the food was even better than we remembered. We had a great server, Mark, who gave perfect advice on our order.
A very pleasant experience. Staff was focused on the customer!
Food was very good.
Quality of food incredible. Service on point. Reasonably priced.
If I could only find real words to REALLY express the delightful, wonderful, so delicious et so flavorful dinning experience we had at Factory Kitchen, I would have been a lauréat candidate to the Nobel Prize for Littérature!
But seriously we all 3 of us had such a wonderful dinner. Starting with the
frittura - beer-battered baby leeks, chickpea fritters and
peperú - soft cheese stuffed sweet&spicy peppers, grana padano, arugula oil.
Then the greatest so “creamylicious” mandilli di seta - thin handkerchief egg-pasta, basil almond ligurian style pesto, oh my Man, this was so good. We then venture into the world of ligurian focaccina (kind of like very thin pizza)
funghi - crescenza, foraged pioppini mushrooms, extra virgin olive oil, italian parsley then to be follow by the mouth watering
capesante - pan roasted sea scallops, roasted sunchokes, taggia olives, wild arugula.
Well now I’m getting so hungry for more but they are not open yet!!!
Best in class experience from every respect
Factory Kitchen is fortunate to have a large parking lot in this outdoor dining pandemic season. They could make the space more attractive with plants etc. It is pretty nondescript. The food is excellent. The service not very attentive, probably because the servers are covering several tables. Free parking is a bonus.
It was just so nice to be out with friends! The staff was perfect. We felt completely safe. They even take your temperature before you come in. Theres also plenty of parking which is rare in Los Angeles. I didn't love the pork belly was okay. Super rich and so much fat. I wish I ordered something else.
Really bad waiter, not focused, didn’t know the menu
Food wasn’t great
Poor service at parking
Way overpriced
Great job with your outdoor dining set up. We felt very safe and the heaters made things comfortable.
Great to be back. Great service and food. Thank you!
This was our first time at the Factory Kitchen. After several recommendations from friends, we finally made our way downtown. With Covid, of course, we ate outside. It was a nice evening and with the heaters, it was most comfortable.
We will go back
Too long time to have food. we ordered two appetizer and one pasta.
first appetizer was made with pepper and cream cheese, the other one was mussel and clams with broth. These two dishes were okay.
We got in the outdoor table area around 7:20 and received our last pasta dish at 8:15.
The pasta made with truffle and prosciutto was $38 which was the most expensive pasta on the menu but Not worth for the price AT ALL.
Paid $98 with tax for the food and $115 in total with their tip.
If you want to make a donation to them, pay the price and have the food.
I tried many 4-5 star restaurant and the food here was like actually 2-3 star to me. The mood and their service was okay but dont want to come back for the food.
Love the new outdoor accommodations for Covid-19 compliance. They have "set up" outside in the parking lot adjacent to the building. Definitely "more room" than when TFC had indoor service. They have a nice Italian seaside (photo) scenery as backdrop panels on the "fence/gate" portion of walls. Ambience is even quieter since seating is outside and there is more than 6 ft between tables. :) PLUS they have a little sound system set up so you still have the "eating inside" vibe. (Bummed no more "bread basket" appetizer, BUT we were just happy to dine again at The Factory Kitchen.)
Awesome food and service! The outdoor set up is terrific.
The food including the dessert was average, our waiter seemed busy, we had to wait for him for a long time before he could help us. Not a good experience.
We had the scallops, the monkfish, the pesto pasta, and the rabbit sugo pasta. Each dish was very good and the Nebbiolo wine I had was excellent. We shall return.
The food was authentic to an Italian experience. Loved the menu selection and drinks to pair. The waiters were well versed on the menu but their courtesy was some what off. I don’t tell so much on as to why but overall the experience was great. I definitely recommend this place for a friend gathering or even a date night during Covid and most likely for even after given the esthetic of the restaurant as it normally is also seems great.
If I had an Italian mother this is where I’d take her to eat in Los Angeles. Almost cried after taking a bite of Funghi. The natural wine felt like a lucid dream. The gelato...

Factory Kitchen - always a favorite place when we have friends from out of town visiting. Happy they have outdoor dining option available. Service still excellent and food superb!
Matheus has done a great job with this place. Felt very clean and safe for all. Waiters were extremely knowledgeable of the menu, drinks were well made. Went for a work dinner but saw everything from friends gathering to dates. Would recommend to anyone.
We had a terrific dinner at The Factory Kitchen including the cavolonero salad, the frittura which was matched with a bowl of red sauce for dipping, the scallops, a pasta, a bottle of the Nebbiolo Almondo, and panna cotta for dessert. Our server Mark was great. What we like in a server is someone who is friendly and has an opinion about what to order, not just what's popular. We have eaten at Factory Kitchen many times and have menu favorites. Mark steered us toward other things and they were spot-on. Also, the maître de was terrific. We had asked for a 4-top so we could sit side by side. Since the restaurant was busy, we sat at a regular table. As the restaurant was thinning out, the maître de remembered and came over and offered to move us, which was really nice of him. Who remembers such things? We'll be back and soon.
food was excellent. the COVID design for the outdoor dining works perfect. seats are well spaced and there are several heaters. of course the food is one of the best in LA!!!
Need more heaters since winter season is here. Otherwise, the food was great.
This was our second time here and everything was greAt yet again! Everything we ordered was fantastic, service great, free parking. All we’re wearing appropriate PPE and we were outdoors. It was chilly despite the heat lamps, but they tried! Totally recommend!
Wonderful attentive service. Excellent food. Outdoor seating only, lots of space to feel comfortable and safe but they need more heaters.
Delicious!!! Lots of space on the patio. Wonderful food.
The FK was delicious as always. Service was excellent.
Our absolute favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. Never disappoints. Make sure you try the tradicionale.
We came late (closing time) and felt the manager was very welcoming. He didn’t rush us at all.
The food was good but not warm, not hot. That was a bit disappointing. Didn’t want to complain because we got there 15 min before closing. Still...
