The Falcon at Hatton

Last night before lockdown and the place was (safely) busy. Staff did a great job despite being busy and the food was delicious

Lamb was nice but all other food very poor. Myself and my husband attended the falcon very frequently a few years back we loved it so much. After the meal on sunday I'm afraid we would not return

The place is rustic, smart and welcoming. All staff attentive. Food on the whole excellent, just my partner's beef was a little tasteless and chewy. Evertyhing else lovely from starters to pud.

Had a great meal and felt safe covid-wise. Walks roundabout are great too.

Great food in a lovely friendly pub, service was excellent, will definitely come back again

The Falcon represents great value for money as the attention to service and the quality of food is far above the price levels charged.
It remains my go to place for all family dinning

Another excellent meal at the Falcon. My wife had Haddock and chips which she said was delicious. The fish was really white and the batter was not too heavy. I had pan fried Lambs Liver swapping the mash for their delicious chips. A really enjoyable evening.

Lovely atmosphere and food and drink fabulous. It was our first time there but we will definitely return. Many thanks

Friendly staff, great food, pleasant environment. Had to wait a while between courses, but they were busy at the time. Have visited a number of pubs in the area and the Falcon does the best burgers.

Great food as ever, just a shame we were in a dark room without a window.

A great meal with great service except had to ask for salt, pepper and other sauces that would automatically come with the meals we had.
Other than that it was perfect.

Sunday lunch was superb!

First time we've eaten at the Falcon, visited hatton Country World but decided to find a good restaurant for lunch. Covid set up very good, with outside covered eating area, we ate inside. Homemade Fishfinger sandwich, excellent. Super food chicken salad, delicious, tasty with loads of chicken, thick cut chips, yum. Will eat there again when over that way and definitely recommend.

Worth a visit, good food, friendly attentive staff and relaxing surroundings.

Always great service and perfectly cooked dinner here. The wine selection is also good. Staff are fully masked and there is a small kitchen team so minimal risk during COVID

Staff and all processes very keenly attuned to not spreading Covid-19. Food was really very good and the service was very friendly, efficient and professional. A super experience: we recommend to others - we will be going back!

ALWAYS ENJOY THE FOOD HERE BUT THIS TIME THE FISH WAS SMALL AND THE CHIPS NOT AS GOOD AS USUAL.

Great Sunday roast, just what we wanted and the time we wanted. Only small observation was it was served very quickly almost within 10 minutes of ordering, and was warm. Not cold but certainly not hot fresh from the oven.

Good food and good service especially in these uncertain times every where had good safety measures put in place .

Everything from the service to the quality of the food was spot on. Food very well priced given the quality - will absolutely be coming back.

The food was cooked to perfection and service was excellent despite being short staffed due to the current situation.

Another nice meal at The Falcon. It was a Monday night and we were the last table by 830pm, hence my rating for ambience! Would recommend and will be going again.

A lovely evening with superb service and equally good food. Well thought out socially distanced tables creating a safe feeling.

Sunday lunch was lovely but was not quite hot enough.

Me and my partner have visited The Falcon previously and both said the food was excellent, especially the meat. My partners parents came down for a weekend and we decided to go back and we couldn’t fault the service, food or value for money. We will definitely be coming back.

We asked for a secluded table as we had my 95 year old father with us who for obvious reasons is not going out much at present and we had a whole room to ourselves . The staff were excellent and the whole party of 5 , all of ‘senior’ age commented on how comfortable we all felt and how much we had enjoyed the experience. Well done The Falcon . Food was terrific too.

Great food great service, lovely place. Got the whole thing going well these days at the Falcon, really enjoying my Sunday lunches there

Food was very good but both me and my partner suffered an upset stomach and it was the only thing we ate that day

We've raised this with the management but we have been ill since our visit (as have my in-laws) and management responded with "yes, we've had a lot of people call about this. We're looking into it".

Hopefully they discover the problem and sort it out.

Well organised and a safe feeling environment with well spaced tables. A very good menu choice with added specials. Lovely staff as always .

Excellent food and service. Covid precautions in place. They are still doing the Eat out to Help out offer, which made the meal good value for money.

Service was slow, our pudding order got forgotten and tried to be charged extra for bread that came with the meal anyway! Food was excellent otherwise

The meal was very tasty but only gave a fair because... I had the duck and did find it really difficult to cut and did find it a bit under done. Otherwise it was well presented. I went during the eat out to help out but would not be very happy if I was paying the full price for this. Staff were lovely though

Very expensive for the portion size. Very neagre portions. Need ti give more calue fir the orice.

Went for Sunday dinner, food was very good and would recommend as a good Sunday dinner only criticism was it was a little cold. Puddings were ok but had better for the money. Service wasn’t great which let it down. We had to get someone attention to order anything which was annoying. They were not that busy so no excuse. Seemed to all just spend time chatting behind the bar. Lack of experience.
