We'll be taking down barriers and letting in the light to create a comfortable open space with nooks and crannies to suit even the most discerning of travellers.
You'll be able to enjoy a bite to eat prepared to order in our refitted kitchen, sit back and relax with a coffee and slice of Ffolkes made cake in our lounge or a drink from the bar and enjoy time in our new games room.
Food was lovely homemade pie was full of chicken , staff really friendly nothing too much trouble would defo go again
Fantastic food, friendly and extremely efficient staff. Just brilliant. Would highly recommend
Everything was great except gravy wasn’t especially tasty service was good and kids are free so great value for money
Stayed two nights on a winter warmer offer with dinner on the first evening included.
I ordered the steak and was very pleased with it. Full on flavour with all the trimmings. My husband ordered the lamb shank and throughly enjoyed it.
Service was very good with both staff members being friendly and attentive.
Went to the Ffolkes for a "pie carvery". What a fantastic idea, the usual veg line up but instead of meat a selection of mini pies. The food, veg and pies were all delicious and had clearly been carefully prepared to the highest standard. One minor niggle, the cauliflower cheese hadn't been refilled, bearing in mind we were called up and told the food was ready. Did we starve? No, certainly not, but all options should be stocked. Lovely greeting and service from all of the staff. Toilets, very nice, similar set up to Byfords with individual cubicles rather than a room with cubicles in, you know what I mean! Great outdoor space, particularly if you have children. Would we go again, yes, wish we lived closer!
We had Pie Carvery for Sunday lunch. Choice was great. Quality was good and quantity was what you made it. With be returning.
Great service and food as usual.
Loved the pie carvery! Best I’ve had! Yum! Will be back!
We came here to celebrate a birthday, the waitress couldn’t have been more accommodating. I had lamb shank which came with dauphinois potatoes but I asked for it to be served with mash instead, they didn’t even batter an eye. The food was cooked deliciously.
Nice meal friendly stuff good service
Pleasant meal. But did not acknowledge it was a joint birthday meal.
Very good service, lovely food and tasteful decor. We booked for a family lunch after a walk round Sandringham and were met by friendly, helpful staff who made sure we had everything we needed. They were very welcoming to our 15 month old boy. It’s certainly a family friendly place but not too rowdy. It still has the feeling that you’re in an adult friendly restaurant too!
Booked for my husband's birthday. We stayed in one of the georgous deluxe rooms and came down for our lovely relaxing evening meal
Food was great quality and portion sizes huge! I was only disappointed that the mains were so big I couldn't manage dessert.
A lovely birthday celebration with friends. Minor down side that we were squashed around a very small table to eat but when asked another was added so we could eat.
Food very nice especially the ribs!
Really enjoyed a relaxing lunch here yesterday, very well looked after and will definitely return!
Great food, service and value for money. The fish and chips are lovely and the pear ad frangipane tart was delightful.
We met friends for a meal here. It catered for both a vegetarian and another who had food intolerances. Food was very good, restaurant easy to find and plenty of parking.
Our first visit to Ffolkes but will be happy to return with family or friends, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. The dining area was shabby chic but very pleasant environment without any loud disturbing music. Would recommend to anyone based on our visit.
We arrived for our dinner and was warmly greeted by the staff, to which drinks were soon offered, the menu had great selection and we chose, starters which soon arrived for the main course we chose the Seafood stew for two, which we both thought was simply delicious after more wine a dessert to share and coffees it was time to leave after thoroughly being looked after all night by such warm friendly staff to whom are a credit to the ffolkes and makes this a wonderful place to come to eat drink & relax, to which we will be back again soon, John & Laura.
Excellent value for money on the breakfast buffet...love it
Love this pub/restaurant. Great value. For Breakfast lunch and dinner. Tried them all!!
Staff very helpful, food very good ,the only downside was how long we had to wait for the food, especially when you have 2 small hungry children with you ,but they loved help your self ice cream after there main meal .would definitely go back
Dined several times varying the choice off the menu always been of a good standard and level of the service very good.
Excellent meal couldn’t ask for better. Service spot on too
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great price
Service was very average. The ratio for staff to diner was poor, resulting in longer waiting times for drinks and food.
We had to ask for a different table as original one cramped in a corner against a large very hot radiator. Had a lovely table given to us pleasantly and quickly. Then we were told they were only serving "Brunch" until 2pm. This information had been omitted from their web site, and was extremely disappointing as I had invited my family out for New Years Day lunch. As other parties coming in after us were complaining, they did give us 50% off our bill, but it ruined my day especially as I am a diabetic and do not eat fried food.
A month ago I took a party of 5 to the Ffolkes and had a wonderful meal with perfect service, could not have had a better dining experience, so I will be trying it again in the future.
Very good food, great price and a lovely place to eat.
Outstanding and friendly staff but the food is very overpriced and poor, a very disapppintong steak for £20+ Means we won’t be returning.
Food and services are very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very happy dinning:)
Food was nice, however you expect the chips etc to be a side to the main, however meat so small I nearly missed it!! And Saying that food I are as good. We paid cash and was asked by the waitress if they were to keep the change as a tip which we may have done, however pit on the spot a bit. Other than this the waitress service was excellent.
Overall a poor experience. We waited 50 mins for our starters because the ticket had been lost. I ordered cod and chips of which the cod was over cooked and inedible. This was sent back and I asked for another. The 2nd was fractionally better but very poor quality of fish- mushy and flavourless. My companions meals were average. We were however offered a round of drinks for the delay on the starters and my meal was taken off the bill. The waitress who served us was very pleasant and helpful.
The Ffolkes Arms has recently undergone a refurbishment which although is an improvement on the old there is a distinct lack of ambience, with a lot of open and bland space.
The breakfasts are a real treat for us. A wide selection available so there is something for everyone.
Everybody made us so welcome, nothing too much trouble and the Christmas lunch was first class how they managed to get everybody served at the same time was amazing thanks to all thye made our Chhristmas
Meal with all family after a brisk walk at the coast. Good food and service
Came here for a Boxing Day lunch. I like the grazing menu as you can choose as many or as few as you like. I had the whitebait and the beef and peppers and they were delicious.
The food was good quality, the sausages were delicious, good choice of breads.
Food was not quite hot enough.
Free to kids under 12 so the restaurant at breakfast was very noisy, and not a pleasant experience.
Only 2 toasters and both were very slow, so there was a ridiculous wait for toast resulting in food on the plate going cold. The coffee ‘station’ was good, but queues were forming there too.
It would be a much better experience if the waiting staff (who were lovely but seemed to be solely there to clear away) was utilised to bring requested toast to the table and also large pots of tea and coffee.
I have only recently started to use the Ffolkes. So far have only eaten breakfast/brunch but cannot fault the food and service.
Food lovely and accommodation great , staff all really helpful and tentative. Love the place
