As always the food was wonderful, meticulously prepared and presented. There were one or two dishes that I did not like but that was nothing to do with the food and all to do with personal preference, as an example I am not a great fan of chocolate so a mainly chocolate dessert is not for me. On a tasting menu that is to be expected and sometimes it is good to try things out of our comfort zone. I think this restaurant is good value for money and are very fortunate to have it nearby..

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. I have had the good fortune to eat in many Michelin starred restaurants but the Fig Tree beats all of them for flavours, originality and ambience. The chef is a genius and I’m truly grateful that his talent flies under the radar so we can enjoy great food without being surrounded by pompous foodies. I’ve given 5 stars but I’d give 100 if it was an option.

Lovely experience, food was a delight, beautifully presented and crafted. Event dining! The staff were very attentive A most enjoyable evening... I also liked the way The Fig Tree allow the diner to decide whether to add a discretionary service charge...a nice touch

The food, presentation, and indeed the wine, are all excellent as are the staff. It is not cheap but given the quality it is very good value for money and if you want high end dining I would urge anyone to go to the Fig Tree, especially for a special occasion. The only drawback from my personal viewpoint is that, in common with many restaurants these days, the noise level is quite high which makes conversation difficult for me as a hearing aid wearer. They were very helpful though in giving us a corner table as requested which helped a lot.

First time at the Fig Tree. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be going back. Everything was great: food, wine, service and ambience.

We have visited several times now and each time we are met with enthusiastic staff, great service, lovely food presentation and above all, fantastic food flavours. However, I forgot to ask for the onion flavoured sour dough recipe, which was obviously excellent! Back again in July for another tasting menu.
