The Five Fields
We offer Private Dining in The Rocque Room for up to 10 guests.
The combination of exceptional food, superb wine and professional, yet personal service caters for any occasion.
We need six stars to rate Five Fields-the attention to detail, the finest quality welcome, service and attentiveness and the stunning food make this a must go to place in London. My guest loved the intimate dining ,design of the restaurant and the plates etc (she is a top designer!) and was glowing about the food as a pescatarian and the trouble taken to explain and modify menus.
No finer place in london in my humble opinion.
Extraordinary food, great service, intimate setting
The presentation was superbe but most of the dishes were salty.
Very good food, but not so outstanding as in the comments written.
The food and service was outstanding. As the evening progressed the noise level from some of the other diners got a bit loud on occasion. All in all I would definitely go back
Fantastic service and high quality food. Michelin standards without the extra Michelin premium. We enjoyed the tasting menu on Saturday, 8 courses for 95 pounds but actually with additional amuse bouche it works around at 9 courses or more. The bread was also delicious, I had to stop myself though from eating too many carbs but not before I had 3 portions of bread!
The service is superb, the only comment I would make is that at some point it got a little noisy when the room was full and everyone was talking at the same time. It would be good if you could confirm bookings online as you can do with other opentable bookings rather than by phone call.
In the modern world with fewer alcohol drinkers it would be good to have more non-alcloholic drink options.
Overall a wonderful dinner and service. We will be back again.
Good solid cooking but portions on the tasting menu are on the small side and lacking a wow factor.
Tasting menu was exceptionally good and it was adjusted to one diner who doesn’t eat meat. Perfect wine pairings. Five star service. Most expencive dinner so far, but worth it
This was our third time at the Five Fields over two years. On previous occasions it was outstanding so I was worried that it might not be as good, but I shouldn't have. I remembered a lot of the hall staff, which suggests that it is a nice place to work for. This time we decided to be adventurous and go with the tasting menu, one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian, and both were excellent. Lots of supposedly "boring" winter vegetables (roots and brassicas) were transformed into delicious and surprising dishes, which was really interesting. Conclusion, it's not that broccolis are not good, it's just that I don't know how to make them into a tasty crumb! The vegetarian highlights were the "winter" dish (jerusalem artichoke, oka and crosnes) and the seaweed ravioli. How do you make wakame taste so nice? The carnivore highlight I am told were the crab and the slow cooked meat (for 72 hours if I remember well). We both loved the carrot amuse-bouche and the appled and kefir lime dessert, the second dessert (chocolate and miso) was a bit too rich for me at the end of such a long dinner. The spelt risotto would have been perfect if the seasoning had been on par as the rest of the meal (it was a bit salty), and the male sommelier was not as good at describing wines as the lady who attended us on a previous occasion. But these are really details, we had a wonderful evening. I would return anytime for the bread alone.
My favourite restaurant in London. Just beyond exceptional in every way
Excellent experience. Fantastic staff and glorious food. 5* overall!
second time to the restaurant, food and service are both very good!! definitely up to a michelin star restaurant standard.
Stays on top of our favorite as always. Never let us down. The dishes are just more than fantastic with very structured taste !
Five Fields is still (we were here about 5 1/2 years ago) a superb restaurant. The chef is very creative and talented, the service is beyond reproach, and the staff is professional, friendly, and very helpful. It's certainly not cheap, but it's worth every penny.
Second time we’ve been - and it was just as fantastic. Great ambience, exceptional food and impeccable service.
Our first visit but certainly not the last. The food was truly outstanding served by an excellent team. 10 out of 10 from start to finish. We can highly recommend a visit!
Lovely dinner！nice service and the tasting menu overall is great. One thing I think need to improve is the cabbage with chicken, it’s too salty
We wanted to visit this restaurant for ages, and so pleased we did. Will try to make it as regular as we can. Faultless really, without being stuffy
The food was absolutely delicious, and presentation was beautiful. For us, the staff were the icing on the cake - their friendly, natural style put us at ease and made the whole experience absolutely brilliant.
Fantastic place for a special occasion. I'm not a generally a tasting menu person, but theirs was truly a temptation and did not disappoint! Can't wait for another occasion to go back.
The food was incredible, my new favourite restaurant in London.
The tasting lunch menu exceeded our high expectations. The service was personable, professional, and informative. This is the perfect special occasion restaurant.
Second visit back to Five Fields. They are really pushing the boat out for that second Michelin Star! This remains a hidden gem of a restaurant that deserves a wider recognition. On all counts an excellent and very happy place to spend ones time in. Will be back.
My friend and I went to the Five Fields for their NYE 7-course special menu. Both the food and service were superb. We only finished 4 courses out of 7 since my friend didn’t feel very well on that day, but we received great care from the staff. Would definitely check this place again once I visit London!
Outstanding in every respect. Highly recommended
The Five Fields has been superb since it first opened. It was long overdue the award of its first star when Michelin finally bestowed the honour. However, i suspect after our meal on Friday night the restaurant is now targeting a second star and I would not be surprised if it achieves it. A truly superb meal.
We have found a new restaurant to add to our "favourites list". The surprising thing is that it took so long to discover it. The food was top class and we enjoyed the fact that the staff are so interactive with the guests.
This little gem of a Restuarant nestled in the heart of Chelsea is right up with some of the best in London. My only hesitation in writing such a good review might mean it becomes harder to get a table. Truly excellent- should have more than one Michelin star.
This is the most exceptional restaurant and a MUST if you love incredible, inventive food. One of the best meals I've had in London in years
Food, wine, service, everything perfect. The 7 course tasting menu was fantastic as well as the amuse bouche. Attentive and discreet service. Excellent cellar. The dining room is charming yet simple but too noisy and it’s very difficult to talk and enjoy in full such excellent culinary experience. Anyway highly recommended.
Brilliant as always from the attentive staff to the fantastic food and the great wine list.
One of our most enjoyable meals out. Small restaurant, fab decor and best of all was the food - totally amazing! Service just how I like it, someone nearby if needed but not over the top where staff hang so close to your table. Loved the wine tasting adventure to go with the various courses on offer - highly recommended. All adds up but well worth it and I will definitely return again.
I have been a restaurant reviewer in Bergen Norway for 16 years (2000-2016), and otherwise spend much time and money on visiting michelin star restaurants. Over 80 with a star and numerous others. The Five Fields is perhaps the best restaurant I have ever dined when considering food. Everything is extremely tasty and refined. It's much better and more exciting than Ducasse, Pierre White, Ramsay etc. The only place I can remember as being so mind-blowing was the 12 course menu at Bagatelle in Oslo and a 30 course meal at Ronca in Madrid.
However when we dined at The Five Fields for lunch there was only three tables which were occupied. Wake up Londoners, you will probably never have tasted food so good as this.

Great! Lovely experience!
Excellent food, was really surprised!
Personally think this restaurant is a two Michelin stars level.
Love the food, the service and the room. Second time dining here with a 4 year gap between times. I hope it isn’t as long until we return! Definitely in my top 5 restaurants in London.
Superb food, excellent service and a fantastic ambiance. Expensive, but well worth it.
Friendly knowledgeable and passionate service. Delicious food.
