Almost perfect experience
Another in my food pilgrimage.
It’s quite a small venue but superbly organised and presented.
Staff are very good at what they do!
The taster menu was superb, hard to list a star dish as all were quite superb.
The venison and the lemon curd ice cream courses stood out! I had a slight faux pas when I spilt a course and they cleared it up very efficiently.
Toilets beautifully clean
Slightly sad not to get the chance to meet chef, as is my joy, not sure the reason was credible but hey ho! Met some amazing chefs in my time.
Absolutely delicious food, exquisitely presented. We loved our visit.
Excellent food and service
Incredible food best meal I’ve had in years
Always such a pleasure. Wonderful special experience with my family. Team went the extra mile with a beautiful extra dessert as they heard we were celebrating our anniversary!
If there is a better restaurant in London I have yet to find it. Almost faultless in all areas but expect to pay for what you get. A wonderful place for a quiet discreet celebration.
Utterly perfect, wonderful food, wonderful staff and a great ambience!
It was a fantastic experience in every respect. If you enjoy fine food, The Five Fields is pure joy. Highly, highly recommended!
Everything about the experience was delightful and the staff was exceptionally attentive. The food was delicious, interesting, and ample. The wine pairings were excellent. Our only bit of unpleasantness was that the large party seated next to us was quite loud, which made it difficult to hear each other and to hear our courses being explained to us. This was no fault of the restaurant though and we look forward to returning!!
Everything was great. That was our first visit, but we are sure we’ll visit this restaurant again.
Delicious, creative, elegant, seasonal food and impeccable service. Wine flight was a perfect match. Our first visit but it will not be our last.
Absolutely outstanding food. Every mouthful was full of complex and delicious flavours. And despite the vast number of courses it felt light and balanced. Just such outstanding creative cooking and charming service.
Some of the tasting menu lacked in flavour and rather a lot of foam
From the moment you walk on you are immersing yourself in the warm, welcoming and intimate dining room. From the ballet of the team around the table to the quality of the attention received, it was an amazing experience.
The food was divine, complexed and so good. Discovered we can eat a scallop roe sorbet or have a short rib cooked for 72 hrs.
Highly recommended is the wine pairing for the tasting menu. The descriptions of each wine accompanying dishes was like a story telling that you didn’t want to stop. Option cheese that came with an array of sides was special.
It was a special treat and for sure will consider again for an exclusive occasion in the future.
Thank you all for making our evening so wonderful. We didn’t see the 3hours pass by.
This was an outstanding dining experience. The food is, without exception, exquisitely presented and elegantly delivered. The ambience is calm and understated. It would not surprise me if an additional star comes this way by the end of the year.
Very good experience! Even better than most of Michelle 2 star restaurants. Especially the pairing wines are elaborately selected by the lady sommelier.
This restaurant is very expensive the question is "was it good value for money?" If you are looking for a quick bite to eat then I would say "no". If you are prepared to spend 3 hours over a meal, where the whole evening is an experience, then I would say a resounding "yes". The presentation of each course was exquisite and the service exemplary. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. The chef was able to improvise around allergies and dislikes with great skill. An evening we will 'dine out on' for a very long time.
A memorable experience. Exceptional food and wine.
Amazing food. Fabulous staff and all round amazing experience.
This was on par with Private Dining… Food was amazing, Staff were attentive, without being overly so.
The whole experience of a “Tasting Menu” was so on point and exceptionally good that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to try such @TheFiveFields
Pricey but worth it. Should include Water & Coffee in Tasting Menu (many other restaurants do) & 15% service is too steep but cooking & wines excellent
Will definitely come back
Great food, service and ambiance
For those that get fine dining this is a must. For those that don’t understand why anyone could pay so much for a meal this is a good place to start. It ticks all the box’s waited on as though you were the only person in the room, staff that don’t care where your from only that you should leave having had the meal you will be talking about for years.
Quite simply the best meal I have ever had.
Just two words to describe the experience: a feast!
This is a very special place, ideal for a special occasion. Impeccable service - unobtrusive, gracious, watchful but always friendly, relaxed and never overbearing. The food on the tasting menu is exciting, surprising and beautifully presented. Our favourites were the early courses (including some spectacular amuse-bouches). Wine menu is extensive - we elected for a bottle to take us through the meal versus a wine flight, and were ably helped to select a robust Spanish white which stood up to all the courses. The room is elegant; where we sat we could hear others' conversations I think due to the acoustic of the tile panels, but frankly after a year and a half of lockdown it was a pleasant experience to hear chatter and noise again. Bravo, The Five Fields!
Always the best dining experience! I was pregnant so I felt the team went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and explained all the items in the tasting menu in detail so we knew if it was safe for me to eat or offer an alternative. Every single item of the lunch tasting menu was beautifully presented and delicious. My gin&tonic mocktail was also very nice. Will always recommended.
The food and service were sublime but I found the dining room a little too small and with a few noisy neighbours it was sometimes difficult to hear
Exquisite in all respects - the food was sublime, service impeccable - it never fails to impress. If you want a truly special evening - look no further!
Totally wonderful top end food.
Absolutely superb. The 7 course taster menu
An absolutely fantastic experience. The prestige wine pairing with appropriate detailed knowledge explained, so eloquently, by the sommelier was excellent value. Every course was delicious for us both, with the amended menu for my none meat eating wife beautifully constructed.
