Disappointing to see some diners not wearing masks, noting its very difficult for the restaurant to manage
Great tasting menu . Loved seeing the humble turnip being elevated into something special with the scallop . The brill was delicious and venison , home grown , was superb . Honey from their farm as well was also very good . Paired with wines as well which were well matched . As a couple of users below say it certainly isn't cheap but you get what you pay for . Staff were very attentive .
I have been lucky enough over the years, to have eaten in some of the best restaurants in London, and it would be fair to say that most of them probably are better known the Five Fields. What I can say with absolute certainty though, is that the food and service at Five Fields is so much better than I have had before though. The place is simply superb and it is very difficult to describe the food by saying anything other than magnificent! The service also is beautiful. Well done Five Fields!!!! If I could give more then 10 out of 10 I would.
We have been to many similar restaurants, yet this one kept surprising us with every dish and every canapé. Every dish kept us guessing as to how things were cooked and what ingredients were used. If you are looking for an unusual fusion of flavours you can’t go wrong here.
I wouldn’t ordinarily pay this much for an evening out but this was not in any way an ordinary evening. It was a memory making occasion of outstanding quality. Thank you to the whole team at Five Fields.
Fabulous food and attentive service. We had the tasting menu with paired wines and it was simply wonderful. Sommelier was informative about the wine choices which were also a delight and extremely well chosen.
Can’t recommend this place enough and the food quality goes well above the one star the restaurant has currently!
It was our 3rd time at the five fields and as always, it was an amazing experience. The food is incredible and the atmosphere and service is perfect.
We really enjoyed the experience at Fiirefields. The food was tasty and beautifully presented.
The meal and personal attention of the staff were superb. This was a wonderful birthday celebration in a very special restaurant.
Four of us had an absolutely delicious lunch on Saturday and the service was first class. We really appreciated the fact that there was no piped music. It was our second visit and we all decided this is where we all want to spend our birthdays from now on.
The Five Fields is a stunning all round dining experience. The attention to detail in both the preparation of the food and the way it is served is without equal in my experience - above even the very high standards set by other London Michelin starred restaurants.
All this comes at a cost, but I still think it is good value for what you get - which is a lot. Top marks from me.
The venison was astonishing, as was the plum tart desert. How is that custard(?) filling possible.
New additions to the autumn menu are fantastic. The venison is a most have.
Friendly service from the front of house team who made us feel extremely welcome. The dining room is unfussy and has simple elegance. Beautifully presented and divine tasting food, with unusual and surprising flavour combinations. Delicious negronis!
All in all, a fabulous experience and one that we're very keen to repeat.
The challenge is balance. With a restaurant such as Five Fields you always run the risk of turning up on a night when the menu doesn't run in your favour, and unfortunately that happened on this occasion. In the minds eye it would seem simple to be able to balance out a nine course meal whereby not every serving was a gastronomic tour de f*rce, but alas.
The food was prepared and presented beautifully; it just didn’t hit the g-spot. Grouse or Brill and then Deer for main, it’s a little like being between a rock and a hard plaice (forgive the pun). Beetroot served two ways oh the sadness of having beetroot presented at all.
Still, the service was excellent, the company amazing and the foie gras amuse bouche was terrific.
The wine was okay.
What can I say! Flawless in every way. A spectacular memory for the taste buds and the mind. Loved it!
Excellent restaurant , great service and superb food. However, quite expensive
Everything was awesome, but I loved their customer service the most!! So beautiful!!
Second visit to The Five Fields for dinner after being very impressed the first time. The only option is a tasting menu, which turned out to be too long in my view, perhaps to justify the £110 price tag. A couple of the courses were not really to my taste, although there were others that were outstanding. The canapés set the bar very high. I would have liked to have had an option for a 6-course menu for, say, £90 rather than having to work through all eight courses.
Amazing food, very attentive staff, a lovely dinner from start to finish. Definitely recommending Five Fields to lots of people, and will be going back myself.
The Five Fields as ever produces the finest food in the finest ambience with the finest service. An absolute gem!
A very special place. Service is always excellent and the food exquisite. Dress is casual for guests and we always feel very welcome indeed. As you'd expect special diets are carefully catered for. Highly recommended
interesting food but not extraordinary. cosy room with a noisy group of men spoilt the ambience of an otherwise romantic setting
Every morsel was delicious. The service was top notch. Highly recommend.
Absolutely exquisite as always! Can’t fault a thing, simply a perfect evening. Everyone always works so hard to make it memorable. Thank you!
This was the perfect location for a birthday celebration. The serves was outstanding in a very cozy but well decorated space and delicious food. This may just be my new favorite restaurant in London! Thank you for the fabulous night!
Stunning attention to delivering the purest of flavours with such flare and care.
A complete joy from beginning to end.
Please please please may I have the recipe for the preserved young pine cones?
Many thanks for a truly memorable evening.
We were all looking forward to returning to The Five Fields and it surpassed our expectations. Amazing food - thank you
The food was fantastic, even better was the service. All of the staff made us feel special from the moment we arrived! Truly exceptional
This was the second time I have visited The Five Fields and I was equally delighted with the food and service as last time.
Each course was absolutely sublime.
I can't wait to visit again.
Returned to the Five Fields post Covid - for the 8 course tasting menu - amazing - every course was a delight both visually and in taste - was a great experience and a lovely night. Well done team.
Excellent à tous égards, service impeccable et belle carte de vins. Recommandé sans aucune réserve.
Excellent service and food. Tasty and creative, with lovely friendly service.
My son and I loved every minute. We had a very warm welcome and decided on their house negroni which was very good while enjoying the most delicate and divine amuse bouches. The tasting menu was beautifully thought out and each taste complemented the other dish. We chose the classic wine paring which was very interesting and informative .
Cannot recommend The Five Fields more highly.
Food quality is great. Served in a intimate surrounding and good for dates or intimate family gathering.
Wine selection extensive but overpriced for what it offers. Pairs appeared expensive for the wines offered.
Service consistent but at times lacked warmth/friendliness.
Notified in advance of dietary requirement however (unlike some restaurants) the menu had not been personalised. Small point but one I would expect at this standard.
Overall a good experience however believe London has better on offer at this price point.
Delicious food, delicious wine, you get the quality you pay for here.
Would definitely recommend
Beautiful, inventive and delicious food. The vegetarian tasting menu was fantastic and wine pairing was perfect.
Amazing restaurant. Highly recommend !
An expensive treat for a special occassion. A supurbly executed tasting menu with excellent service.
