Yet another outstanding dining experience with a superbly designed menu and outstanding presentation. One of the very best in London
A truly wonderful experience. Staff were very well informed and professional. Food was tasty with beautiful presentation. Wine list is very good and sommeliers very helpful.
Gran experiencia, la comida y el servicio fueron excelentes!!
Very good -excellent food and wine - will go back
This restaurant is totally exceptional. The intimate, comfortably elegant surroundings are matched by the highest quality of food and wine. These are served with a delightfully light touch, expertise and meticulous attention to detail. We’ve never come across such a superb combination anywhere else. It’s expensive and worth it.
This is one of the best dining experiences in london where food is art as well as food. The service is outstanding and intimately professional.I have rarely found better in many years of top dining.
Dining alone, felt very welcome, beautiful atmosphere, spot on service, loved the food
Nice place beautiful food excellent service!
We met friends for a great evening.
Perfect anniversary dinner! Elegant room, delicious/interesting food served by charming, knowledgeable people. A high-light of our London vacation.
Long wait for food. Excellent starters very disappointing mains... served just warm. Good deserts... not great value for price.
Very refined / elaborated food
Reasonably price for top quality
This is one of my best finds over the last couple of years-the creativity of the food, the outstanding front of house welcome and service and the quietly intimate atmosphere is simply superb.Well done to Taylor and the team.
If you enjoy eating out then this is a must. No "small plates to share, which come when they are ready" here. This is the absolute definition of fine dining. 3 course or tasting menu with a good (but not overwhelming) choice and, an excellent wine list.
The food really is the star of the show. It is not just delicious but the presentation is fabulous without being pretentious. Sometimes when the food is this good, the portions can be small, but in this case everything is served in generous measure.
What can sometimes let down a good restaurant is the service. No danger of that here, it is exemplary. The attention to detail, welcoming and attentive staff make The Five Fields a true experience.
The price will mean this isn't for everyone (£75 for 3 courses), but if you like to treat yourself from time to time this will make you feel special. Worth every penny.
Mixed feelings about 5 Fields. Service was fabulous, however there was either a lack of communication or a mistake on the wine order that was off-putting. The food is very creative, however it was somewhat over-the-top with flavors. The food should speak louder than the sauces. We were also intrigued by the architectural of the dishes--some were immaculately laid out, some were Jackson Pollack designs...
I could not fault anything. Such a fantastic restaurant. I chose the Five Fields for a very special occasion and the staff elevated our experience to another level. Food, wine and atmosphere, everything was perfect. Many appreciations goes to the staff.
Superb food - perfect ingredients, executed with style, accuracy and innovation. Great wine and very pleasant service.
A small, cozy dining room but tables far from each other to bring a good balance space. Just right attentive service. Every dish was a successful composition. Very nice evening.
This is our third visit to this restaurant and the food, service and attention to detail are second to none. Amazing place
Memorable dinner, outstanding food and interesting wine list. Impeccable service. Probably the best experience I have had in Kensington
Outstanding place to eat , worth the money for the experience.
My wife and I went to The Five Fields to celebrate her 30th birthday and we had a really special evening. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and were well looked after by the friendly and knowledgeable staff throughout.
The variety and combination of flavours and textures was fantastic, and was taken to the the next level by some insightful wine pairings. Look out for the Austrian Zweigelt paired with foie gras and delightful artichoke starter served three ways.
Lovely place for a dinner with someone special. We enjoyed the creativity coming from the kitchen, the impeccable service, and the unusual but superb wine which was recommended by the sommelier. Sorry low-carb dieters but the bread selection will be your downfall.
Great food, friendly and knowledgeable staffs
Simplemente genial, una cocina increíblemente buena, unos camareros excelentes y una explosión de sabor en cada bocado. Una experiencia maravillosa y uno de los mejores regalos de navidad del mundo :-)
Great evening for special accation and fantastic service food brilliant .
from the moment you walk through the door this place oozes quality. The taster menu was excellent and the service relaxed, yet attentive - nice selection of beers as well.
Will definitely return.
London's best restaurant. Intimate, great service, exquisite food
tHIS IS OUR FIRST VISIT TO THIS RESTAURANT & IT CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE OUR LAST..
PERFECTION IS THE WORD i WOULD USE FOR THIS REVUE.
FOOD OUTSTANDING, SERVICE AMAZING, ATTENTION TO DETAIL SECOND TO NONE...
I AM A VERY FUSSY EATER, BUT WITH PRIOR NOTICE THEY PRODUCED THE BEST TASTING MEAL WE HAVE EVER EATEN...
OUR ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT IS THAT IT DOESNT OPEN ON A SATURDAY EVENING...BUT WE WILL BE BACK....SOON....
It has been quite a while since we have been to the Five Fields Restaurant. But finally we managed to be in London and enjoy the wonderful tasting menu. Again it was an outstanding evening. The service was excellent as always and the chefs gave its best. We had a wonderful table. We hope to come again soon.
The Five Fields delivers beautiful looking and tasting food worthy of it's Michelin Star. It has a good wine list to suit all tastes and price ranges. Unfortunately, I found the service quite intrusive and we had the tasting menu and everything was brought out too quickly and with much theatre......The food is wonderful and the tastes exciting and pleasing however, I was served the smallest glass of pink champagne I have ever had at £ 20 ?!! Very disappointed by this. The restaurant is small and tables well spread out but I found it a bit claustrophobic after a while. In summary, the food was excellent and staff friendly but a little too staid for my liking
There was nothing about this place that didn't meet my full expectations. I went with my wife and had the tasting menu but chose our own wine (as we're not too keen on Chardonnay or dessert wines). The food was superb, the service impeccable. Small but lovely dining rooms, with couples sitting alongside rather than facing each other.
Overall very nice British cooking with a couple of tasty dishes. Generally met the expectation of one Michelin star.
Visited the Five Fields as part of a short weekend break with my wife. We both opted for the tasting menu and it was a superb dining experience from start to finish. Great food and exemplary service.
Brilliant experience! So attentive to detail and our favorite of the 3 Michelin starred restaurants we’ve dined at in the past few days. Will definitely be back!
Can’t fault this place at all. Everything you’d want from a fine dining experience. Lovely staff who worked extremely hard all evening, but somehow made the very high level of service appear effortless in unobtrusive. Great pairings with wine and all the food was exquisite. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
This is now our favourite restaurant in London. All of the elements that go to make up the perfect dining experience are to be found at Five Fields; the food is both innovative and beautifully presented, the staff are friendly and efficient without being overly effusive. The ambience is intimate and you can hear one another without hearing the conversations on other tables. Wine prices are on the steep side. The food is good value for money considering the quality.
Perfect, the food was delicious, original and beautifully presented.
