Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful old building. Quirky dining areas. Fabulous food, you really should try a pie, full of filling, not pastry

We were recommended to try the Fleece Inn by friends and we were not disappointed, the bar staff were lovely, engaging and attentive without being fussy. The pub itself is a delight, steeped in history and interesting to explore both inside and out. The menu was interesting and we had a truly wonderful meal with two particular highlights, the longhorn pie was rich filling with quality produce. Secondly the sticky ale pudding for dessert was a masterpiece, rich and tasty. The garden area is worth exploring as is the history of the inn itself. Cannot wait to return.

Good food, well cooked. Good beer, well kept. Excellent ambiance. Everything a good pub should be. I will, of course, be back.

Fantastic building which takes you back hundreds of years into a different world. Menu just the right length, plenty of choice but short enough for everything to be freshly cooked. Good choice of wine and beers to complement the delicious food. Lots of space outside but would recommend booking when the weather isn't so good.
