   The venue has a lovely ambience but there were a few issues. I'd expect a restaurant with this image and prices to have flawless customer service. On arrival you have to park in an underground car park and pay by the hour for parking, even on a Sunday and when dining at the restaurant - we were only there for just over 2 hours but got charged an extortionate £8. When we found the restaurant (harder than expected from the car park) we were quickly seated and welcomed. Unfortunately the waiter spilled our bottle of prosecco while pouring and just ignored it. We were repeatedly offered to have our water refilled but they never actually did it. The menu changed last minute which was unacceptable for Easter Sunday - I would have picked somewhere else if I knew this was doing its regular menu. The food was fine but slightly outrageous none of the meals we ordered came with carbs like potatoes, chips, rice etc. On the positive side, there were plenty of sustainable vegan options, including a delicious pear tarte tatin for dessert.

   Good standard of food covering most dietary requirements. There were several imaginative vegan options and they were all tasty. The service was efficient and the overall price was good value for money.

   After randomly stumbling upon the folio bar and kitchen i was not disappointed. We booked early for a mothers day afternoon tea as we just moved locally and wanted to see if it was as lovely as it looked. Food and staff were fantastic and we will be back in the near future. Thank you.

   Food was nice - had the Mothers Day afternoon tea. Really beautiful sandwiches and scones but the cakes were a bit of a let down. Too many sweet to start with, panna cotta was a weird texture like too much gelatine. Macaroon and carrot cake were nice but the chocolate cake was a touch bitter. I would return for their ‘ normal’ menu as Im sure it will be nice. There is a lot of staff but not very attentive, we waited 10 minutes before anyone offered us a drink, 35 minutes before our afternoon tea came out, and had to ask if our drinks were coming and if the food was coming as there were only 3 tables in there (10 people - including us) nice atmosphere, very loud as its an atrium / orangery type setting with hard floors. There is NO information on how to pay for parking / validate tickets. I would suggest a sign in the car park / lift and stair well. Overall a positive first experience.

   We visited Folio bar and kitchen for Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The aesthetic in the restaurant was clean and felt very posh. It was late lunch on a Saturday so it wasn’t too busy. We were sat on a nice table with lots of space. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely, freshly made sweet and savoury treats! I really enjoyed the goats cheese and asparagus mini baguette! The scones were also freshly baked and still warm - an absolute delight! Our visit was made even more special by great service, all the servers were great, and Dolly made an extra effort to ensure we had a lovely visit. Would recommend!

   Lovely decor friendly and super polite service but a bit slow at times. Incredibly high standard of food. Reasonable pricing.

    Attentive and welcoming waiting staff, enjoyed the ambience and decor. Fine selection of food which was served promptly. Great evening with friends we’ll definitely return
