A Modern American Cuisine.
The ambiance was fine but I was quite upset when I sat down and saw all the glasses with stains and then the glass that was in front of me had lip stick still on it. But, my food was good and my mother and grandmother said their food was good to, also couldn't drink the water because it was tap.
Seated promptly. Waiter was courteous and was always available when we needed him. Great food. Always enjoyable.
Family agreed that Foundry’s food was just ok. My lobster ravioli had several cloves of half raw garlic and was topped with cold fried leeks. Service was spotty at best. Nice atmosphere but very loud... lots of hard surfaces and nothing to absorb noise. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend or go back.
Usually the food AND service is fantastic! Never had a bad experience there. However we had a server we’ve never had before and he was awful. Can’t win them all..
chicken and steak were both overdone, they took steak off the bill. Eggplant meatballs were very good,
Very enjoyable first time visit.
Yummy food. Very nice brunch with bottomless mimosas.
We have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the experience but not this time! Service was slow and not attentive and there was only a few tables with patrons. I shouldn’t have to ask three servers to take our order, get us plates, and refill water. Our waiter never came back to see if the food delivered was OK and he walked away before 2 people in our party of 4 gave him their food order. Very disappointed !
Great place for drinks and apps. Very noisy in the dining room.
This was my first time eating at the foundry, it was a tad louder than I expected it to be which made talking to the other members of my party difficult at times. However the food and bottomless mimosas compensated. Would visit again!
The food was delicious. We love the NY Soho Vibe. The Artwork on the walls are beautiful. Great Ambiance. Will go back and will invite others and highly recommend to friends.
Such an amazing experience at The Foundry! Had an outside table along the side which was great. Best service we had all week! Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, extremely responsive and enthusiastic about the establishment. The food was AMAZING. EVERYTHING. We especially loved the fire roasted jerk wings, the polpette, and the bolognese! Drinks were deliciously crafted. Honestly- we almost returned for a second night in a row. Can’t wait to return! Five star operation.
Food was okay. Prices very high.
Excellent Vegan options. Tastefully prepared. Best brussel sprouts we ever ate. Great atmosphere. We’ll be back.
The food was very good and my boyfriend and I loved the restaurant we would definitely go back there again
It's fine for drinks. Has a great atmosphere but the food is terrible. We ordered the thai tacos, flat bread and crab cakes and they all had spicy chipotle mayo. Also ordered the cerviche but it had two bits of fish and the rest was shrimp. It came with the biggest pile of cold greasy plantains. Just not needed.
They didn’t have my reservation when in checked in. Other than that, everything was great.
Our waitress was the only good part of the meal.
Dry meatballs, pizza was soggy, skirt steak to tough to cut.
We brought my mom here for her birthday, party of 5 for dinner. We had a great time, the food was amazing and so was the cocktails. Our server was great as well. Will definitely recommend and be back!
Service slow. Drink order was wrong. Portions small.
We were at the foundry last Saturday and had a great time! Food was yummy and the ambiance was amazing! We specified on opentable that we had a birthday but no one greeted us :/
Good place for a bite with friends, good food. Friendly atmosphere, waitstaff very attentive.
The food is just average at best. Thought it would be a good addition to place to go to watch a ballgame. The burger was overcooked, nice size though. French fries were definitely frozen variety and truffle farm seasoning was poor quality. The Shortrib flatbread was very small and was average taste at best. I'll stick to other restaurants for this type of food.
Food was only mediocre and way too expensive for bar food. $140 for two people. Only two drinks!!
Good food, kids pizza was great, short rib flatbread was delicious and donuts and mousse dessert was amazing. Great server recommended a lobster based pasta sauce that was big hit with my other kids
This place is always packed, so we wanted to try it. We did have to grab a waitress at first to bring us some waters. There were several large parties, so we were extra patient. Once the waitress took our order, the cocktails were fabulous and the food was delivered very quickly! It has a fun, rustic atmosphere. We will definitely return to try a few more items on their appealing menu.
We went for lunch and left very pleased. The service was excellent and the food was most impressive. The quality and taste both get very high marks. My wife and I will be returning for more, soon.
5 friends got together for dinner. Only one had been to the Foundry before. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The server, I wish I could remember his hame, was excellent. He was patient and accommodating as we sampled several wines to suit 3 palates. All of our orders were accurate, prepared as requested, served timely and were well presented. The entire group was very pleased with their dining experience. Will certainly return. If you’re a dessert person, desserts were limited to 2 choices, so not likely your place.
Food was not very good, asked for my steak to be med/well cooked and it was rare. Waiter/waitress did not come by to ask if everything was good.
My server was amazing!!! I loved her soooo much! Our meal was fantastic and I would visit again!
Chimichurri 10oz skirt steak with black beans, jasmine rice, and tostones was delicious. Went on a Sunday for an early dinner so it was quiet. Good experience.
We've been to this restaurant several times. We always have a good experience. They try very hard to accommodate our food requests, which they are successful at. I recommend it.
We had the most wonderful dinner at the Foundry. EVERYTHING was outstanding. The food was unique and delicious. The service was really what set the bar though. A special thanks to Cody our server, Jimmy at the bar, and we did not get her name, but the hostess with the short dark hair who came to check in on us and make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. We went for an early dinner which was also during happy hour and the drink and food prices were great. Can't wait to go back next time we are in town.
Food was great, drinks cold and fresh and appetizers delicious! Will definitely go back.
The chicken and waffles were incredible and the meatball appetizer was, too. My gripe is with the prices of the food. While the waffles entree was relatively inexpensive for the amount of food we got ($15), the small meatball appetizer (four meatballs on polenta) was $12 and a Greek salad with chicken came out to $20.
So it wasn’t enough that we spent so much on the meal itself, but on top of that the service was incredibly slow. Our server took ten minutes to just bring us our waters and was basically absent the entire meal, save for dropping off drinks and the one “did everything come out okay?” question. We had to flag down other servers for things we needed since we couldn’t find him.
All in all, I feel there are way too many brunch options in South Florida to consider going back.
We had the Sunday brunch with unlimited bloody Mary's and mimosas. The food was tasty and the drinks were flowing. Our server Mimi was great and we will definitely be back again.
Doors are open, smoke from outside sucked into restaurant. Gluten free options are sub-par with very few options other than salad. Food was average.
Birthday celebration, thanks. We had a wonderful time.
It was just OK. Ceviche was not good. Odd type of fish and a couple of shrimp. Salads were good.
