The Fox & Pheasant
The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!
Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.
Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!
- Surfaces sanitised between seatings

The best Sunday roast in London
The staff were so welcoming, the service was great.....and the food was exceptionally good! The menu was varied and interesting....the only problem was choosing which dishes to pick!! The dining area was chilled, and comfortable.
We had an amazing meal last night. Such a great place. Amazing service. Fantastic food and great ambiance
Will be back soon
Fantastic food and ambience. An excellent t experience!
Everything you can hope for in UK pub, fantastic host, great food and athomspere!
Good food in good company. The owner James came and talked to us and thanked us for dining, a great evening.
Fantastic atmosphere and great food. Service attentive and friendly. Cannot fault and can't wait to go back soon!
The best pub in London, staff, location and food
Lovely little pub that we have been wanting to visit for a while. Great service and food.
Good food and drink in a very nice pub. Would recommend.
Delicious food, wines and cocktails! Good ambience and liked being in the conservatory separate from the pub at the front.
Delicious food as always and a lovely atmosphere. Always enjoy it here, my little piece of the country at home in London.
Lovely atmosphere, kind and attentive staff and of course fabulous food.
Good service and good food - no complaints!
Hospitality is a priority at this place - a warm welcome, careful service, cheerful staff. Excellent ale, even grappa provided which is lacking in many places. There's no sense of hurry, and the food is beautifully prepared and presented. The cheeseboard is particularly pleasing. The booking/reservation system is clear, but requires credit-card - it would be good to know that card details are not retained!
Altogether a good place to go, with no noise and good service.
Went in for a birthday dinner, the staff are always lovely but even more so and said happy birthday! Food is always impeccable!
Great food, great service and great ambience, great experience from beginning to end
Food was exceptional! Try the cauliflower dish. Bursting with flavours. Outstanding meal and lovely friendly staff.
Excellent pub serving classic dishes in an elevated fashion
went there for a sunday roast a i had a great service and great food
Fantastic meal, beautiful layout in the conservatory and brilliant service. So welcoming will definitely return. Added bonus of adorable dogs.
Fantastic as always! Great food, drinks and service.
Great little pub tucked away in Chelsea. Went for the Sunday roast and will be returning very soon.
Fantastic sunday roast! The service was a little wanting, had to ask and wait a while just for an initial pint of coke
A little misleading of a hand sanitizer bottle put on table, thinking it was a vinegar bottle. Staff aware of it and are dealing with it.
We enjoyed a great meal , the food really is excellent. A bit of a shame the waiter disappeared mid way trough our meal and non of the other staff seem have to taken over our table resulting in long waits
Great evening with nice food and staff.
Love how the whole place has been improved, especially the garden area, its beautiful
Great food and ambiance - service slightly slow, and staff not that attentive- but great food!
Very pleasant! The Barman helped me with my pram too. Lovely staff and service and food was nice and fresh!
Great food and service. Nice to meet JB!! Hope to be back...
Had the Sunday roast. Beef good, potatoes and other things just warm and obviously standing around and precooked. . Very disappointing.
The staff and atmosphere are great, plus the food is stunning! A real winner that I will keep coming back to.
Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely, we went as my daughter is a huge James Blunt fan and wanted to visit his pub.
Amazing setting, food was outstanding. A really lovely experience from start to end.
This lovely pub never fails to disappoint. The staff are great and very welcoming and the food is delicious. Lots of choice. Would highly recommend.
Great Sunday roast - highly recommend!
Don't forget to book!
I cannot fault this place.
The food was excellent, as was the service.
Definitely will be back again soon.
It is our second time going to this lovely pub restaurant. The service is always very friendly and efficient and the food is very nice. Some of the heritage tomatoes in my salad weren't quite ripe, and that would be my only negative comment. The almond cake with poached pear (which was the day special) was fluffy, light and absolutely delicious.
Love this pub.
Absolutely outstanding. The staff are so friendly and the food was incredible! Can’t wait to come back.
