Such a lovely place with amazing service and the food was incredible!!
Have already recommended the Foxham Inn to friends. A notch above the normal gastro pub (with prices a touch higher to reflect higher quality) but a really nice venue for a 'special evening'. WIll definitely go again.
Great food as always, lovely service from Sarah as always! Shall miss this place when we move shortly.
Great lunch plenty of choice on the menu the Steak and Kidney pie was excellent, shortcrust pastry and plenty of kidney, couldn't have hoped for better! Thx
Fabulous food, all homemade and local. Very attentive service. The landlady is lovely. We will be back.
Friendly as always...accommodating to elderly appetite ....tables not crammed together..so even tho all tables taken..noise level low and perfect...cool and yummy oasis on a hot day! Thank you Sarah and Neil x
Delicious meal with the family ranging from 12 years old to 88! Warm and friendly welcome and good menu. My vegetarian daughter felt her choices were a little limited and but did enjoy the Battered halloumi. The restaurant was busy which meant a bit of a wait for dessert but staff were very good at explaining this and the desserts were worth the wait.
Another excellent meal. Highly recommended.
Don't go here,They say they are vegetarian friendly,Not true,The restaurant is like a seaside fish and chip bar, where you sit looking at the cooks in full view and can smell nothing but over used,Dirty, old hot cooking oil,The place was nearly empty on a Saturday evening on a lovely weekend (a worrying sign) Now I know why.
The menu was very basic and way over priced, they had 2 vegetarian options only, battered haddock and chips or macaroni cheese (what a cop out) both were £13.95,the meat options ranged from £17.95 to £23.00 with basic starters at £7.00.
When we enquired did they not do any fresh fish (sea Bream,Bass,Salmon) they said they had sold out on Friday,This was a lie because they don't have a specials board and the only fish on their menu's was battered Haddock with chips,So how did they sell out of something that they do not sell/offer,Talking of chips that was the only potato option offered with all meals,NOT even basic new potatoes or mash,Their desert choice was Ice cream,Ice cream or you could have ice cream.
When I said to the landlady that we would not be eating, as my wife was vegetarian and they only had two very basic (cook at home) dishes,She got super insulting and rude and even said "it is your fault, you did not say you were vegetarian on your booking" No because they claim to be vegetarian friendly and I should not of needed to,I did not say I had a limp either (neither should matter)Oh and no Vegan option at all,Unless you eat fresh air.
We went to a french/English restaurant just down the road in the end, paid no more, got silver service and it was as always fantastic.
To sum up the Foxham,Poor choice, basic menu, hugely overpriced, vile restaurant area,No customer service skills or even basic manners,Would never return even for a drink,No wonder they were empty
We have been going to this pub for many years. It has changed hands several times but has always attracted experienced chefs who put their own mark on it. It has been some time since we have been but it did not disappoint except they had sold out of fish- first world problem really!
Lovely people and food was exceptional. Service was quick and the waitress was delightful.
Really enjoyed the meal as we always do here. No critical comments
What a wonderful time we had on the first night of our holiday. Couldn't have been made more welcome. As for the food well I don't really need to say much other than we booked again for Thursday! Rebooking says it all. Fantastic!
We have been there for Sunday Lunch over the last few years , it is family run and they really do look after you well, great personal service and great food every time.
One of the few Inns in the area I would recommend.
The downside was that one of the items on the online menu was sold out...and that was the one I had been eagerly anticipating.
However all three of us were very satisfied with the food and service
We had a wonderful meal at The Foxham Inn, absolutely faultless. Delicious food, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Lovey country village hosts this nice pub serving a good variety of delicious food. Good ale too.

Made a last minute booking for four at the Foxham Inn on Saturday and very glad I did. The food was excellent and the service was superb with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Great food and brilliant service! We will definitely be going back!
We were in early and found the service friendly. The food was the best we've had in a long time and we'd certainly return when in the area. Thank you.
We ate outside under parasols & received the usual smiling welcome.
Good choice of food on the menu with vegetarian options also all the roasts. my beef was delicious. They have an excellent chef patron whose wife runs the service side
Service was good.
Great food fantastic hostess very fair prices lovely Interior to the pub.
Great food in an off the tracks location - recommended!
Pub set in a pleasant countryside setting. Sunday lunch provided in very nice surroundings, excellent food with a warm, friendly welcome from the owner and service provided by extremely polite and efficient staff. Would definitely visit again if in the area. My one and only gripe would be that being the first lunch sitting the restaurant was cool on a sunny, but cold, spring Sunday.
A really great personable experience- great service, food and atmosphere. I will definitely be returning soon and recommending to friends/family. Thank you Fran
This was our first visit to the Foxham Inn and the welcome was warm and enthusiastic .
Food choice was excellent and the quality of the food was very good and would certainly return when next in the area.
Service was very efficient and friendly and a great place to meet friends and have a good quality meal
Lovely pub with a warm welcome. We had a lovely lunch, all the food was freshly cooked and of excellent quality. We will return.
Brilliant as always, lovely warm welcome, your meal cooked to order and comfortable surroundings. We always enjoy our visits here. Thoroughly recommended.
I booked The Foxham Inn to take my mother-in-law for lunch. She is a sprightly 88 year old, quite a bon viveur and her hospitality was legendary. The landlady could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. We had whitebait with lemon mayonnaise infused with wild garlic, followed by rabbit, pigeon breast and ham hock terrine with onion marmalade, a side order of chips and a salad - all totally delicious! My coffee came with a home-made Italian biscuit and we were given home-made biscuits to take away - an unnecessary but nice touch - and they were also fabulous.
It's well worth the circuitous but beautiful magical mystery tour of Wiltshire to get there.
What a lovely place, we had a stunning meal and were made to feel very comfortable and most welcome by the friendly landlady.. it was a Wednesday evening and the pub wasn’t bouncing but we had a fantastic time and will definitely return.
A lovely evening with lovely food in a lovely pub we will be back
Never fails to deliver! Hamhock was amazing. Cant fault anything at this brilliant family run Gastro Pub.
