Food was outstanding and the service was with a smile and cheery. Would recommend to anyone.
As always the food was delicious. We had crab cakes to start followed by duck breast with red cabbage absolutely stunning.
Beer good overall up to the usual superb standard.
Amazing food, as always. The service is always welcoming and nothing too much trouble.
This is our go too inn for amazing comfort food, the food is always on point. I highly recommend the ham hock and for any left over they are always happy to wrap it to go.
Booked at the last minute after another pub let us down. Never been to the Foxham Inn before - what a great find! Excellent food, excellent ale, and excellent, warm and friendly service. A really great meal - we will definitely be back soon.
Re: C-19 precautions - we had a nice pub table outside. All had a pub umbrella, except for three which were under a decent sized covered area. The latter tables would probably be fine even on a rainy day.
Lovely food and service. Would definitely recommend.
A delightful experience as always despite sitting outside on a relatively cool day, our co-diners were good company too.
Excellent food as usual, lovely setting and friendly staff.
My favourite place to dine in Wiltshire.
What a lovely place, but the best thing of all was the staff, so friendly and accomodating , thanks so much
As usual the food was excellent, the pub is setup well with "pods" separated by clear plastic dividers. Lots of hand sanitisers around the pub so felt completely safe.
Selection of food and drinks are slimmed down but could not fault the selection and as always felt pleased with the choices and the amount.
Happy to return.
Lovely home cooked tasty food with a welcoming and friendly service.
Delicious home cooked food and very friendly service.
Top quality home made rustic fare in large portions, really lovely place
Great food. Great service. Always a treat to eat here
Amazing place would highly recommend it. Great food and host. Very clean and beautiful location. Loved our stay.
Lovely country pub with good pub food service was fantastic and staff were great
we arrived on time for our booking and they were ready for us with a choice of tables
the mussels we shared were delicious
we had roast beef which was excellent including the yorkshire pudding and vegetables
this is the second time we have been and we will be going again
We where very disappointed with our experience at the Foxham inn. Whilst I can sympathize with the difficulties COVID-19 creates, there is no excuse for out and out poor food. The pate starter was literally a slab of pate plonked in some pickle on an otherwise empty dinner plate accompanied by 2 slices of toasted supermarket Bread. Other starters where no better and the main course of pot pies with fried oven chips and barely cooked peas left little to celebrate when paying premium prices..
Great as always, the halloumi is my favourite meal treat.
Good choice within the menu. Excellent food and good service.
Good choice Sunday lunch menu with vegetarian options. Well spaced dining in light of the current regulations. Excellent food and service as usual
Huge portions, friendly service, good honest pub fare
Lovely friendly service and really good food. Couldn’t fault it.
What an amazing find, this was such a lovely cosy and relaxing country pub.
The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious.
The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Would definitely recommend.
A lovely pub, great service and the food was really very tasty, although my fish batter was slightly overcooked.
The portions were huge, one of our party had the halloumi and I think they had an entire Costco size pack of cheese on their plate 😂
The sticky toffee pudding and Horlivka ice cream was a fantastic way to finish the meal, shame I could only manage half of that 😁
Delicious Sunday lunch outside in the glorious sunshine with relaxed and friendly service. The beef was cooked to perfection and the home made ice cream is a must! Couldn't ask for more.
Two of our party have specific dietary requirements and the response/ level of knowledge was brilliant. This was an example of really going the extra mile to ensure a good and safe dining experience - even checking with the pudding maker (away in Scotland) what ingredients the pudding had to ensure there were no allergens! And there was a reply.
With the offer to ring ahead next time to say we're coming so they can make something specific, we'll definitely be going back :)
So lovely to sit outside and eat fabulous food in September
Feel very COVID-19 safe
Neils home made ice cream has to be tasted to believe. A true delight
Excellent again. Lovely choice of food for lunch. Great food and beer.
The food was typical pub food
Incredible food! Had an amazing roast dinner with tasty tender beef. Beautiful country pub, in stunning surroundings. Lovely and friendly. Perfect experience.
For the Sunday roast option, beef was bit tough, lots of fat. Was expecting better/more veg, sliced carrots, french beans, and a mashed courgette. Could of been hotter Not your traditional Sunday roast. We were all left slightly disappointed.
Fabulous as ever, a very pleasant & relaxing family meal. Also managed to catch up with a few neighbours!
Four seniors who delight in good food, ambiance and good humour.
The food was extremely good. Very fresh, plentiful and hot. Small
menu but we feel that is a good thing. The owner/waitress was so
personable she made the experience even better. The whole covid
situation was very well catered for. No worries at all.
It was very quiet as it was Friday lunchtime but the pub looks as
though it has strong local support. Would return in a heart beat if
in area again.
Nice traditional Pub with out standing friendly service .
Good friendly service and a lovely lunch. Homemade ice cream was fantastic.
Two of us had fish and chips it was delicious, very generous size one of us had the pie, also delicious, if you are a Pudding person then avoid the starters and go for the sweets - unless you have really large appetites.
I HAD THE GARLIC MUSHROOMS AND LOVELY CRUSTY ROLLS FOR STARTERS REALLY GOOD.HAD HALLOUMI AND CHIPS AND HOMEMADE ICE CREAM EVERYTHING AT A VERY HIGH STANDARD
Lovely country pub were we had a good pub lunch served by very friendly staff. All in all a very nice experience
