Beautiful food served up by very pleasent staff. Spacious and comfortable restaurant.
Really good food
Great night out, delicious food and wine. Unfortunately waiting time for drinks over 15 minutes a bit disappointed.
Went out to celebrate our engagement we had a lovely window seat. The food was amazing we really enjoy it plus we got a nice surprise desert for our engagement.
Everything was top notch. Unreal service and food. Great ambience
Our waiter Donal made our night. Our dinner at Gigi's was the best part of our stay at the G
Absolutely amazing service and the food was absolutely brilliant too.
Staff very friendly and respectful of your space.
Food was very very good, well deserving of its awards.
We will be back
Excellent choice
So well presented
Very clean
Staff checked up a few times
The food was amazing. I had fillet steak on both nights off my stay, as very few restaurants can do as is ask but on both occasions my steak was perfectly cooked. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was a little too dark for my liking but it would not put us off returning. Thank you too all at the g hotel.
Very friendly polite genuine staff, the waitress checked up on us frequently but not every second. Asking are we okay or do we need anything else etc. Whole restaurant team were more than polite
Beautiful surroundings and food but the main waiter who tended to us made us feel rushed. We weren't given five minutes to sit down and look at the lists/menus. We were barely finished the courses when he whipped away the plates. If the seatings were to be under 1.5hrs we should have been notified. Not really relaxing at all.
Great dining experience in a top restaurant that is very reasonably priced. Chateaubriand is a must for a couple. Dining at the g Hotel and specially Gigi’s Restaurant will now become a must for any future stays in Galway.
We were expecting fine dining standard from the photos on the hotel’s website. Meal was fine, however not the standard we were expecting. Service was just OK and we had to ask several tunes for drinks.
We felt what was on the menu didn't fit with what we were familiar with for Gigi's .. It was almost more of a pub food menu. The price was much higher for what you'd expect for a Thai Red curry, fish and chips or a burger and chips. Two members of our party ordered the Striploin steak and were very disappointed. It was very very tough and not what you'd expect for 28 euro. It may have been unlucky with that particular batch of steaks or they have changed supplier to get in cheaper meat. The starters were much better in comparison but still quite expensive. Overall the food quality has dropped since my previous visit pre covid.
Food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.
Lovely relaxed and safe feeling as we entered. Shown straight to a table and accessed the menu through a qcode. We chose starters of scallops and caesar salad. The scallops were fabulous the caesar salad disappointing. We both chose the chestnut gnocchi as our main course. This was outstanding. No room for dessert.
Excellent food . If I had only an hour for lunch I wouldn't have had time to have 3 courses. But it was a Saturday so we were n no rush .
