Fabulous food, friendly and professional staff. Good value and exceptional service!
Fabulous food. Unfortunately they had run out of brûlée and cheesecake but the Bakewell Tart with cherry ice cream was just as delicious. Def recommend staying here or just stopping by to have dinner. Will def be going back!
I have sent email to hotel everything was excellent all round
A vey nice meal with excellent and attentive service
Lovely food a bit over priced for what it was good service lovely place
Excellent quality of food and very good and friendly service. We ate lunch which was excellent
Friendly efficient service in very comfortable and impressive rooms. Excellent table spacing and generally felt very covid-safe. Food was sadly average and consequently felt pricey: the basics were well cooked and presented (steak cooked as requested and chips, fish and chips, chicken liver parfait) but more complex dishes felt overcomplicated or incorrectly balanced (confit duck leg overwhelmed by chorizo, buddha bowl lacking in zip). The red mullet starter was especially good though. The house red wine is first class.
A great dining experience. The Dining room was comfortably warm, quiet and enhanced by subtle background music. I was impressed with the variety of options on the menu which thankfully catered for Vegans. The table service was efficient and friendly! The food was brought to the table in a timely manner and served hot. The offering of cucumber to accompany the Hendricks deserves credit! Overall a very enjoyable dining experience.
Afternoon tea was lovely, but dinner not good value for the price
The services was excellent and the hotel accommodated my specific dietary needs easily. There was an enticing range of dishes to suit most tastes and portion sizes spot on. I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and they took ever care to make sure that our needs were met. I also liked that thye were @dog friendly@ even though I didn't take myown it was lovely to see that other dog owners were completely at ease to bring theirs with them. HIghly recommend the restaurant and the hotel.
We booked Afternoon Tea, it took over an hour and two complaints for the food to arrive. The only saving grace was the girl at reception who was very apologetic and gave a full refund.
