The ambiance was beautiful, however, the weather was cold and not enough heaters. The menu has limited options but maybe the place is more of a snack venue than a dining one.
It was fine. Service a little slow and awkward. Less attentive than you might expect. Food tasted good. Expensive, but not unsurprising for a hotel restaurant. The setting is nice and will be useful for meeting friends outside.
Everything was excellent except the noise level caused by an irresponsible customer that was seating next to me. I have visited the hotel numerous times and usually the staff keeps an eye on the noise level. Unfortunately, not this time
Excellent cigar service, attention to detail. Drinks superb. Lovely ambiance, if a little cool on the evening. We moved to the Crystal Moon Lounge where a mix up with orders was resolved swiftly & the staff could not apologise enough. Immaculate and stunning garden & flower displays. Highly recommend
lovely place to stop for a coffee,
Be aware when ordering a cocktail if they bring you a side of snacks they DO charge without telling you beforehand
The waiter has spilled a drink on my phone. Neither has he cleaned my phone nor brought me a new one. Instead, he just put the drink on the table (which was spilled a fair amount off). In the end, I needed to pay the price for a full drink and my phone getting wet.
Fantastic service! Very stylish. Good quality food - not haute cuisine but well presented.
Great service, lovely food in a gorgeous setting.
Definetely is not for as diner, food was terrible but good for cigar
This being a cigar lounge as well, well there was a lot of smoke around us. Obvious, but when booking I thought maybe that would have been contained in one area. The food does take a while to arrive but is outstanding. I would have liked to have seen a better varied menu though, as there are quite a few other options in the hotel that we tried throughout the stay. The staff are outstanding, and do go out of their way to provide flexibility. Compared to the other areas in the hotel, I was a little disappointed with the seating, and bare tables. It is outside but I felt there could be more decorations so that it is not bare. My table was slanted because the floor I think was not level, but they corrected it quickly when pointed out.
Customer service was excellent. The garden was quiet, perfect environment for someone to relax and enjoy a nice lunch.
Lunch at the Corinthia was excellent, the service was first rate, the food was delicious and the ambience was perfect for daytime eating. We will definitely be returning.
We had a young toddler with us but they were very accommodating. Highly recommended.
Excellent customer service. Very professional and helpful
What a fantastic venue, the staff were superb we had a fantastic evening, Thank you.
We tentatively ventured out as lockdown was easing. We were not made to feel uncomfortable at all, they had taken numerous steps to take care of hygene, but we didn't feel like we were in a clinic. All in all it was a delightful slice of normal during strange times. We weren't rushed and the food was amazing.
When we arrived we were told the garden was closed and we would be moved inside to the restaurant. No problem with the garden being closed but would have liked to be informed so we could make other plans. Really didn’t want to eat inside hence the booking. Was offered a free drink to make up for it.
Quiet, not vibey. Cigar lounge so quite smokey . Good drinks. Pricing as expected for a London hotel
We had a very enjoyable afternoon out of the way of the sunshine and the excessive temperature
Having worked in The Hotel Industry for approximately 38years ( The Connaught & The Savoy London,
The Shanghai-La & The Peninsula Hong Kong, Head Concierge in All ,
I consider myself a good Judge if ‘ Guest Service ‘ , From The Moment you enter The Corinthia this in abundance, ‘ The Garden ‘ is a wonderful concept and probably the best kept secret in London !
Well done Thomas Koch 👌
Fantastic service, small and quiet garden. Food is matching an overall vibe. Price is ok, but be prepared to spend around £50 per person, and that if you won’t start browsing thru the wine list. Good for business meetings or making impression on your date.
Lovely evening , great food and exceptional service
Oysters were warm but were changed. Service a little bit below expectations and not 5 star standard. For example waiter leaned over us to place cutlery for other person, poured male wine glass full before female, had to request spoon for every additional side and starter. One spoon was dirty. Finally bill showed VAT at 20% despite recent cut to 5%. Food otherwise was of a good standard.
Whilst not the most memorable of outdoor dining locations, it's still a peaceful spot to enjoy Alfresco dining during the summer. Food as always to a high standard and service attentive, yet considerate of the government covid-19 guidelines. Highly recommended.
Beautiful court yard area with lovely food and friendly attentive staff.
We had Afternoon Tea for my 50th birthday followed by celebratory drinks in the Garden. The hotel was so beautiful and the staff were so friendly, attentive and made us feel very comfortable. I'm already looking to book another occasion there.
The garden at The Corinthia, effectively organised as a 'pop up', whilst the Northall restaurant is closed, is a very pleasant, quiet space to enjoy a leisurely meal, with a good choice of menu and very good food and service, as you would expect of The Corinthia.
I would not hesitate to recommend The Garden to other diners.
What a disappointment from my favourite London hotel! Such a shame. Firstly we were barely even greeted, then found it very difficult to get service to order a drink and food then waited over an hour for it. It then arrived all at once - starter with main and side. The actual food was nice. Social distancing was also inconsistent as one waiter didn’t have a mask on and got super close to me (felt his breath) when he couldn’t understand what I was ordering (felt like he didn’t know the menu at all) . We said we were not happy with service and wanted the charge removed - nobody even bothered to ask more which is usually a sign that the staff don’t care. I have visited a few other places such as Hotel Du Vin in Henley and Jurema terrace at The Mandrake recently and they both got the service spot on so it’s a shame such a high class hotel like Corinthia got it so wrong. I hope it’s just a blip and specific to the garden.
Excellent food and very friendly staff. Very rare to find outdoor space like this in central London
It was more than my expectations, I went there with my kids for a drink and to have something to a meat. We ending up having afternoon tea it was a delicious. And the manager was so helpful the service was excellent. I will sure be going back for another experience. The garden is my new spot for this summer.
They had only recently reopened and the overall experience was very enjoyable.
Really nice place, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Definition will be back.
As always amazing service great atmosphere and superb food.
