The food and service was great - The only thing that I thought could be better was the Steak Tagliatelle - The pasta was VERY dry, think more sauce and perhaps the steak sliced thinner as no steak knife was provided and it was a little tough.

My husband had to wait over an hr for his starter. As waiter took his order wrong. Also had to wait long time for main course.

Great venue with absolutely beautiful food. Great to see the Gate back to its former Glory. Thank you to all of the staff, fantastic service, nothing is too much trouble. The food was simply perfect, I’ve eaten Italian food all over the world, this is the closest I have ever come to true Italian cooking. Brilliant Will be back again and again. Bella

Decor really lovely with the new owners. Staff were friendly although not particularly attentive other than bringing the meals and drinks over to you, Pizzas were excellent - pasta carbonara not amazing just ok. Ribeye steaks ok Been a few times now may give a miss for a while - could maybe do with some additions to the menu it did seem quite limited.

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful food ....perfect. Could do with putting families with small children in another area there. Was a bit off putting with food thrown in floor from children.
