The beautifully refurbished George Hotel offers not only fine dining and comfort dishes in the colonial inspired décor of the restaurant, but an array of cocktails in the lavish Bobbie's Bar, as well as decadent Afternoon Teas in the botanical haven that is the Orangery.

    It's my first time here. I was curious as I have driven past here multiple times and wondered what it's like. Overall definitely worth the visit. Staff were friendly, food is lovely and it's such a nice place to be.

    I've eaten here multiple times and always loved it. I'm vegetarian and gluten free and they have always looked after me. Today was a disappointment. The usual gluten free roll was replaced by thin dry sliced gluten free bread. I asked why I wasn't getting the usual roll and was told they've changed supplier so it was no longer available. I said the bread was very dry and was told that gluten free bread is dry. I've been coeliac for 13 years and today there are many gluten free breads that are NOT dry. Do disappointed. Didn't even get a free cup of tea as a sorry!

    Our favourite place to go for dinner! Food was fantastic as always and the staff are friendly and professional. Cocktails were great. Looking forward to trying the new cocktails very soon!
