Love the character of this place and the food was delicious. The only thing was it was a bit cold where we were sitting. There was a little heater beside us but we still had to put our coats on in the end. Wouldn't stop me going back though.
Lovely food, lovely staff, hope to be back sooner rather than later.
Food was exceptional, had the Giddy burger and it was cooked to perfection and the flavours were delicious.
Good food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere.
Very attentive service, great food!
Great to see a local business adapting through challenging times.
Covid has ruined the experience for us going out for tea. Waitress come over 15 mins before 6pm to say we needed to be out and come over Atleast 5 times to remind us we need to out
Meal was rushed and was a lot of money to pay for both meals to be rushed out the door
Enjoyed our meals, food was very tasty but the pizza could have been a little hotter when served, staff were all very welcoming and professional.
Let me book and confirm the booking but wasn’t open! Ruined my birthday lunch for my sister! Joke!
Nice atmosphere. Lovely decor. Food was amazing. Service very good
Great value food, served imaginatively by friendly, helpful staff.
Nicely decorated and furnished with perfectly adequate Covid precautions in place.
We'll be back.
Thank you.
Such a nice place to meet up for coffee and food. Relaxed and friendly.
Love the decor.
The doors kept opening and the restaurant was FREEZING. When I commented on it, the staff were not interested.
My daughter’s pizza was delicious. However, my burger was burnt and overflowing with overdone cheese and very well done bacon.
For a starter we had tiger prawns. For nearly £8 I expected to get more for my money (5 prawns).
The desserts were outstanding. Overall I thought it was very overpriced and I’ll not be returning. 😞
Food and service was good. On a cold and rainy night though it was disappointing that the outdoor heater gas had ran out.
Ordered 2 burgers and a pizza came to £50. Asked for a pepperoni pizza got a complete different one, no one around to ask to change. At the burgers which were ok and left. Won’t be back.
We arrived after making booking for there to be no table. We were offered table inside but due to being away for weekend we wanted to have a drink and laugh
Staff were extremely unhelpful
Excellent food and service
Booked a table early on for 2, turned up at time and was put at a table that was initially not under any cover. Was handed another table that only one chair was under cover. The rain was very heavy on that night.
Starter wasn’t amazing but main as always was delicious
Food was very good. Staff were genuine and friendly. Only negative feedback, me and my friend thought the high chairs were a bit hard, I did start to loose feelings in legs
Great menu choice and the portions are very generous - excellent food quality!
Lovely wee place but we were just there for drinks so outdoor seating. I had looked up places to go and chose GG because it said there was shelter from the rain and heat lamps/gas fires. Unfortunately there appeared to be only one table with a functional heat lamp and the gas fire didn’t provide enough heat. We were absolutely Baltic and had to cut the night short. I have a second booking arranged but will have to cancel - it is just too cold to sit for more than 1-2 drinks! If the heat lights were fixed I’d definitely come back as that’s what I was expecting. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We didn’t have food but the drinks were great too! I’d recommend GG in normal circumstances but I can’t say the outdoor area was any more suitable for winter in Scotland than anywhere else at the moment.
Was not sat in the area booked for, instead sat outside on what is pretty much the road. Also, when food came with no cutlery we immediately asked for cutlery, however the waitress did not bring cutlery for 20 minutes by which time our food was cold.
Food was very tasty thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Would recommend to friends.
Arrived to beer garden not ready for us to be seated had to wait everything wet. I appreciate weather is not there fault but if you have booking you should be making sure the area is prepped and ready to seat we shouldn't have to wait till you do so. No gas in heaters area freezing. Service was slow had to ask for drinks and felt very unwelcoming standing with card machine next to us to be paid
First visit food was amazing and the place is beautiful
Great value, hot fresh pizza and cold beer! Warm outdoor heaters and good umbrellas! What more could you want?
Great lunch at Giddy Goose. I had the chilli dog with fries that was delicious and would definitely recommend. My friend had the pizza which was also beautiful. Great service and value for money.
Food was excellent. The pizzas are especially good and would highly recommend them!
Really enjoyed our meal, beautiful decorations and fabulous sweet potato chips :)
Great venue. We booked outside in garden for some cocktails and small plates. Did not disappoint. Great little venue will defo be back for more cocktails and food!
Brilliant burger ! Cold inside , but with covid I don’t know if they are allowed heaters on
Booked giddy goose outside as they said they had patio heaters- when we arrived at 345 they said there was no gas 😢 we were told only allowed table till 515 /530 they eventually put heaters on at 515 😢😢
Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff and food was amazing - had to wait for our table so were a bit rushed to order food before they stopped serving, but was hardly an issue and food came quickly after ordering
Overall we had a lovely evening but the service was really really slow. We waited over 20 minutes for 2 drinks to be brought to use. These arrived just before the food which shows just how slow it was. Many people even went inside to check on where their drinks were as it was taking so long. The last time I dined here we also had problems with the service being slow. It really does have an impact on the overall enjoyment of the dinner when you are constantly asking where your drinks are and trying to get the attention of a member of staff.
Lovely setting, lovely staff and great service. Would highly recommend.
Food was good, we had a cheeseburger and a chicken burger - a bit too much sauce on the chicken burger, but tasty. Given its recommended to use contactless payment, it was disappointing that we weren't allowed to split the bill and pay using two cards. Reason given, its company policy not to accept two cards for payment!!! We were advised to do a bank transfer between ourselves!! My recommendation to two friends or colleagues eating at the giddy goose is to take cash or go somewhere else which happily allows you to split the bill.
Lovely place for lunch! Quirky decor and cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious and definitely recommend the wild berry fauxjito! Service wasnt great as we were kept waiting so long time for our dessert order to be taken that we went off the idea, but the staff did seem to be busy at the time and were very apologetic.
Very nice atmosphere! Very clean and cute setup! Staff were very friendly
Our first October al fresco meal. Very enjoyable and a lovely wee beer garden. Waitress was great too. Each of us really enjoyed the food...and the beer kept nice and cool!
Second visit to Giddy Goose, food was ok, seating a bit too close to others given the restrictions and there were several annoying flies buzzing around our food. I noticed flies on my first visit over a year ago but assumed it was a summer issue. Bit off putting so may be slow to return for this reason.
