   Excellent food and fantastic service as always. One thing I feel I need to raise is the fact staff can’t be tipped by adding extra to bill when paying by card. We didn’t have any cash so couldn’t leave a tip for the brilliant service we received. Other venues allow you to add a tip to the card payment and I believe the cash equivalent is then taken out of the till. I see regularly that you are short staffed and that in turn affects opening hours. Perhaps staff would stay if they got proper tips?

   Had a lovely time on Friday evening. Service was great as was the food but please please bring back your Greek salad. It’s perfect for us veggies 🙏🙏🙏

   Excellent service and food from the Forfar Giddy Goose. Very prompt service and staff occasionally asking if we needed anything else. All of our meals were very tasty and enjoyed by all. Reasonable prices. I’ve been here a number of times, have enjoyed each time and would recommend to anyone.

   Not full menu was available that night. No pizzas, no hot dogs, no garlic bread. Food was ok, nothing fancy really. I love pizzas but couldn’t have one that night. Service was good, had to ask for salt and pepper as they never even thought to ask us. Nice cocktails and mocktails.

   Been several times before. Menu changed a bit between visits but food was good and prices just at top end of value for money. Always happy to go back. The visit on Saturday was a just a disaster. Half the menu was unavailable, but things can go wrong and thee was still some choice, or so we thought. The food that was served was not what was ordered and when pointed out the manageress told us it was what we ordered and they had changed the menu so we might of thought we were getting something else. This was repeated with the deserts. and the same story was told. We were wrong but when you've been before and ordered the same thing and each time and its different I don't think I'm wrong. There will b one final change and thats a change of location. will never go back when eating in Forfar.

   The restaurant changed closing hours a few hours before my reservation that i had booked for a week, they didn't have any of the food items only the lunch menu and limited sides. I could only book a table at 4:30, so it meant I only had an hour before I had to leave. Terrible experience nowadays, never used to be this bad. The staff were rude and complaining about no one leaving, thinking no one could see or hear them at the bar.

   I love the Giddy Goose for drinks and food! First time I had been for brunch and they never let you down! Delicious and all three dishes we had were amazing! We will be back! 👍🏻😀

    The food and service was amazing as always! A bit sad that there are only a select few cocktail that are 50% off on the menu as I was hoping to try a whole bunch out for my first time (i dont drink often). The forfar staff are a credit to your team :) They are always SO lovely and friendly and the chefs prepare the most amazing food. Thank you, will definitely come back again with my family.

    Very poor compared to what we have had before, meant to be fries but more like McCain oven chips, small portions, and no sweet potato fries anymore not impressed and very disappointed

    Have eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This time however we are asked to take a table in the bar. We presumed this was because we could hear a rather loud party in the other room. However that loud party quickly either left or went quiet but as we were the only ones in the bar felt a bit like Johnny No Mates. The service and food was excellent but the only other people in the bar were collecting takeaways and it all seemed a bit sad. When we went through to the toilet after we had eaten we were surprised to find quite a few empty tables and are still unsure why were were put in the bar when we had booked quite a few days in advance. As I said food and service good but spoiled by eating in the bar when there appeared to be tables free in the main restaurant.

    Service was excellent, the waitresses were never far and checked in frequently without pestering you. The food came out very quickly and was delicious. Even though the place was busy it was still possible to have a conversation without having to shout over the rest of the room. All in all a great experience!

    Food was flavoursome, hot & tasty. Food presentation pleasant. Service warm, friendly & inviting. Booked in with 2 friends for your breakfast menu commencing that day. Received prompt confirmation of booking & further text that booking moved forward by 15mins. Unfortunately, despite being first to order & each order taken at same time, my friends had been served & eaten their breakfast & I had my beverage only. I asked if my breakfast was ready, as my friends had now finished their meals. To my surprise, I was asked if I'd ordered something to eat. I confirmed I had. The waitress didn't know what I had ordered, so I gave the waitress the order again, as it was certain they had forgotten about my order. When I gave my order to the waitress, they were polite but omitted an apology, perhaps due to discomfort or embarrassment. I felt uncomfortable eating on my own, as the purpose in socialising or going out with friends, is to eat together. Thankfully my friends, seeing my discomfort, then ordered something else to share, so we were able to share the experience & enjoy a meal together.

    Noise level was only loud due to me and my friends . No other issues to complain about that couldn’t and won’t be solved till n a less busy night if the week - for instance it was a little cramped at the table with 7 people but that was my fault due to being a soft boy .

    Really warm friendly greeting, restaurant is well decorated and the sharing platters were great for myself and my wife. Service was excellent throughout.

    Food and drinks were delicious. Staff were all really kind and nice to talk too. Quick service and lovely atmosphere. Family had a brilliant night and we really appreciated the staff bringing the birthday cake out and lighting the candles. Looking forward to coming again!

    Music was maybe a wee tad loud whilst eating. Did not complain as myself and friend was only 1's dining in the bar so us talking loudly wasn't an issue I thought. Food was fab. Service great. Girls friendly and chatty.

    Lovely decor, friendly staff, very tasty food. We ordered too much food as we didn’t realise the burgers came with a side of chips, this could have been something that was pointed out by our waitress when we placed our order.

    Really enjoyed my meal today and so did my friend who was a first time visitor. Food and service was excellent the only point I would make was my friend was quite cold during our meal didn't spoil the overall experience as she just put her jumper on.

    Great lunch and catch up with friend both had the loaded fries, I had the lamb ones and he had the beef brisket ones. Very tasty good portion and good value also good beers to wash it all down.
